HELLO! How are you today?

I apologise for my extended absence! My computer finally gave into it's old age, you see! But it lived very well for its ten years (or maybe more? probably more), even though I didn't use it much until I needed to write up papers on it.

And you see, that's what's really been keeping me, because even though I've been fully capable of running to the library all along, all my papers for school were lost! My teachers were truly wonderful and understanding about giving me an extra week or two to catch up and I would have done so quicker did the libary not close even before my own bed time!

What I must say now is that: I APOLOGISE AGAIN FOR NOT SIGNING ON UNTIL NOW


And don't forget the inspirational quote of the day (I get a new one on my daily calendar!): There is only one person who could ever make you happy, and that person is you.

Today, I saw a sign outside of a flower shop, that read: YOUTH IS LIFE. I wanted to share it with everyone, because it's such a wonderful message!

Perhaps tomorrow I'll buy a disposable camera and take some pictures of that sign if it's still out, and maybe some of the dogs being walked in the park! I would so love to have a dog to walk, myself.

THINKING ABOUT THE PARK

There are squirrels there! I saw one standing out in the path, you know. I was jogging, so I kept coming at it, but instead of moving out of the way it ran towards me! It was terrifying! That's the sort of thing I imagine only ever happens in the city.


Though the squirrel was terribly cute. Maybe I'll take pictures of them, too.

GOOD AFTERNOON, EVERYONE

I apologise for my lateness in addressing those I've friended on this journal! You see, I've been terribly, terribly busy since the beginning of the year! (And I have secretly come to believe that I am the only one in my subject who is available to tutor others, which has taken a great deal of my time, you see!)

Also, I am not terribly used to having a computer readily available! So... I may or may not have forgotten that I actually have this journal.

BUT THE SAME MISTAKE WILL NOT BE MADE TWICE. I am not a person who will let myself fall back on excuses like forgetfulness and my inability to manage time between activities! So, to repeat myself: I am sorry.


That aside, how is everyone doing? I hope the year has been good to you thus far!
