Well, Minnie was glad Tina was established on the couch when she got that information to avoid a period of confusion about what the HELL Julian was thinking.
"Well. Glad to have you here, then." She smiled. "Especially if the radio goes on the fritz again. Don't know what's wrong with the thing, but if you could take a look in the morning, we'll owe you one."
Minnie frowned at the last bit. She didn't know what was up there, having never really met Tina's mother and doubtful that it would help if she had. Julian and, when he was around, Mr. H. would never have let someone do that to her when she was Tina's age -- not that anyone had tried.
