Just when you think life could not get any worse...you have to battle freakishly huge bugs just to survive. Thank god he had his partner in crime battling right next to him. Most would not think he and Marko would be a suitable match for partner's in crime in fact Wisdom could hardly believe Marko stood by his side this entire time--through all the mayhem Marko had his back.
Nobody can figure out why the bugs suddenly reached Godzilla status (size wise). All he knew was they had been battle with from day one. Right now they were taking shelter, devising a plan for the next attack, plus Wisdom wasn't built like Marko, he needed to rest.
"This is just bloody fucking wonderful..." Fynn grumbled, slouching down and running his hands over his face..which was covered in various bug guts.
"Right now we need to use...weapons! Weapons would be great or at least for me. I'm not sure if you taking out a poisonous spider would be the smartest move." Wisdom explains.
He never thought he would have to take down a spider with weapons...he misses when you could easily step on one. Maybe this is karma coming back to haunt him. After running for awhile he found a place for both of them to rest for the time being.
Wisdom sighed, suddenly paused looking up in shock at a very hideous looking preying mantis. "Great. No rest for the wicked it seems. Right, ready to get your bug slime on?" He asked Joe.
He raised his foot and brought in down in a powerful stomp, sending out a shockwave that toppled the giant bug.
Bug guts went flying everywhere..including all over them. "Bloody wonderful." Wisdom says complaining.
He noticed more bugs started to come in their general direction. Wisdom could feel heat coming from the two bugs, he was able to absorb it from his location ans caused the bugs to freeze in a brittle state. "Now is the time to go all smashy on them, Joe."
"Isn't he a beaut." He was about to send a big of energy flames at it, it suddenly took a quick swipe at him...Wisdom went flying. Shit.. would be his only response.
"Holy shit...!"
He knew he broke quite a few bones in his body. This story is going in the books for his grandkids.
"First...watch it for that bug. He doesn't look happy." Wisdom pointed towards the same bug that sent him flying, was starting to charge towards Joe.
"Okay," he said, planting himself firmly. He readied a punch to throw when the bug drew close. "Time to squish."
"Yeah...time to squish." Flynn said with a grin. If it wasn't for this guy half the time, Wisdom would be a goner by now.
"Okay, dude," he said. "This is gonna hurt."
He got set, and popped the shoulder back in.
"My body is ready to receive." Wisdom braced himself for the next set of pain he'll be willing. Sure enough he grits his teeth together, feeling his shoulder being popped into place.
"FUCK!" Wisdom yells out, exhaling in and out fast. "Thanks, mate. I could use a stiff one right about now."
"This is getting ridiculous." He said.
"Dimensional vortex to hell...how inviting." He scoffs a little. "This shouldn't really surprise me, considering what we deal with on a daily bases."
Wisdom finally stands up, feel still evident in his shoulder along with massive bruising.
"What next?"
"Suppose we should make sure there aren't any more of those uglies."
