Then one of our teammates tried to take a shortcut to solving the Tallus' riddle, and shot one of our few living allies in the head... and we found out there are no shortcuts. We were stuck there, until I helped Allison disintegrate the vampire version of my Aunt Ororo. We get some pretty horrible assignments sometimes. Allison was one of our first casulties two worlds later. A version of Quicksilver snapped her neck, just like that."
