Olivia looked at Sarah and then looked around. Where were the rest of the Exiles? Shouldn't they be with them? "Where are the others?" she asked Sarah. "Shouldn't they be here?"

Lady Olivia pulled up her skirts and hurried through the hallways of the palace. The first rays of morning were coming in through the high windows and her Highness Princess Sarah of the house Rogers would be waking soon and Olivia, her maid, had to be there to help her wash and dress. Olivia reached the princess' door and opened it slowly. She peeked in and saw that Princess Sarah was already awake and out of bed. Olivia entered the room and closed the door behind her.
"Apologies, my lady," she said with curtsy.

Olivia climbed to her feet and stretched. Her neck complained about her sleeping position with some pain. She had slept in an awkward position and the muscles in her neck and upper back protested. Her hand went to the back of her neck and her fingers started to work on the sore muscles.

Backstory:
Olivia Nicole Barnes was born to Natasha Romanova and James Buchanan Barnes in July of 1992. A month or two after her birth there was an attempt by the Red Room to kidnap her, but her parents managed to prevent it. Natasha and James knew that their daughter would never be safe from their enemies and they decided to take action to keep Olivia safe. They faked Natasha and Olivia's deaths and with the help of SHIELD new identities were established for Natasha and Olivia. James planned to join them a little later, be he caught wind of Red Room finding out their new identities and a plan to go after them. James managed to stop them before they got to Natasha and Olivia, but it cost him his life.
New identities were established for Natasha and Olivia and the only two people who knew their aliases were Nick Fury and Steve Rogers.
Natalie and Nicole Rushman lived in a small house just outside of Phoenix, Arizona. Natalie was a French teacher at the local high school and also taught martial arts at a local martial arts studio. Nickki was a quick learner and very athletic. She started studying martial arts at the age of four and also started ballet classes along with gymnastics. She excelled in these areas and also in her academics. She learned languages with ease and became fluent in Russian, French, Spanish, and German.
Natalie would eventually expand Nickki's education to include marksmanship and firearms.
Uncle Steve would visit the two on occasion and bring Nikki presents. Nikki knew that Uncle Steve was an old friend of her father's and she would always question him about her father. Steve would answer as best as he could without giving her father's true identity away.
Nikki was a little surprised when she figured out that her Uncle Steve was none other than Steve Rogers, Captain America. Once she learned who her uncle really was, she had more questions about her father and needed to get some answers. Against her mother's wishes she headed to New York to find her uncle and find out more about her father.
Olivia stayed in New York and became a member of the Avengers junior squad.

Nicole Rushman stood before the gates to Avenger's Mansion with a backpack slung over one shoulder and a determined look on her face. She was here to see her uncle to get some answers. Answers her mother would never give her. The woman could teach stubbornness to a mule given the chance. Uncle Steve had the answers and Nicole was determined to get them from her.
Her mother had been out of the house one day when Nicole picked the lock on the steamer trunk her mother kept at the foot of her bed. Curiosity had finally gotten the better of her.
Nicole found old photos and newspaper articles in the trunk and her birth certificate. Her real one. The photos were of her mother and the Avengers. The Avengers! Apparently her mother was an Avenger and had never once mentioned it to Nicole. There was a picture of her mother with whom she assumed was her father. Her mother was the famous Black Widow, Natasha Romanova and her father was James Buchanan Barnes. At least according to her real birth certificate. Nicole had seen her birth certificate that named her mother as Natalie Rushman and her father as James Rushman, but this was something new entirely.
Hell, her name wasn't even Nicole Rusham. It was Olivia Nicole Barnes. Why the hell did she have a fake birth certificate and a fake name?
No, Mom would never answer those questions. So she went to the one person who would answer them. Uncle Steve. Known to the world as Captain America.
She reached up and rang the buzzer near the gate.
