There's no escape from loosing pants
Honestly Kayura was feeling pretty good. The days since the incident which should not be named (with that woman Kayura had taken to calling the Yakuza Princess)had gotten better. She wasn't upset about what she had seen as a really bad accident.

That meant she was doing not just as well as she had been in her training prior to that but there was a noticeable improvement. She was happy about it. Normally she did smile easily except when she was training but right now there was a slightly infectious tug at the corner of her mouth. She's happy and unless something goes wrong nothing will change that mood.

	Hajime has been trying to test her, get her to work through whatever is on her mind the way he usually does. Which is to say, exhaustive workouts. Finally, the distractedness is enough for him to halt the workout after over two hours of hard effort. "Something is on your mind?" Its barely a question. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	She was going to say maybe only a bit but that would have been enough to be noticed. "That murder that Keiji-sempai and I investigated. What happened still.... bothers me." She was used to the idea of killing monsters. People were a different matter. But today she thought she would be okay with what had happened. At leas okay enough to not worry about it. She puts her training weapon up and kneels in front of him.

"I tried to not let it." Trying and succeeding were both very different things. It's no surprise to her that thought comes across in the same tone her father would have used.

"I am not sure that what bothered me is that man dying or how callus that woman was when she was using that sword. I am aware weapons like that can bend the minds of people using them to some extent but.... it disturbed me to see something like that inn practice. What unsettled me even more is that my armor reacted very strongly to counter the soul eater.

I checked the records I have access to. I don't think anyone in my family ever encountered a souleater being used by someone. They might not have known to warn against how.... draining it felt."

"I may have destroyed my supply of apple juice and oreros for the week." She eats frequently.

"And I seem to have people checking on me to make sure the.... accident has not...." Bothered her? Broke her a little.

"I don't think it bothers me like they expect it to. I am bothered that they were not fighting entirely under their own power." That the man who was still evil had no real ill power by her understanding.

	They're still talking about food, because she was evading talking about why her training is off, sticking to what isn't bothering her, or supposedly isn't, and he wants her to relax enough to maybe tell him something useful. "Not as much as I'd like. Most cooking I've learned to do recently has to be fast," she admits again.

Now she feels relaxed enough to bring this up. "I.... don't think I've been able to sleep well."

That first day she hadn't slept at all at night. She had ended up taking a 'power nap' at her desk the next day. She had been sloppy during training because of that. And the kink in her neck had given her a great deal of trouble.
