I was supposed to take delivery on a 26ft' trailerable sailboat made in Stuart this weekend. The company president told me he doesn't want to do the sea trial there this weekend because the water is so bad he is afraid the foul water will stain the new gel coat on the boat. He has offered to bring the boat to Naples next weekend for the sea trial. I remember in the late '80s renting a boat there and being impressed with the water quality and feeling like I was in the Keys. The water clarity and amount of sea grass was incredible.
