You don't need to have a bunch of separate things. You CAN just put them all in at once.
I'm a Cyborg, But That's Ok.
I loved Ps I Love You. I just saw Juno that was pretty good. And Premonition. I wanted to see the Nanny Diaries only because a portion was filmed at my school.
PS I Love You and Juno were amazing. I saw them both on the same day, but I missed half of the first to go watch Juno. I ended up finishing it a week later, though!
Premonition was okay, but it's really hard to get that space-time-travel thing down and make it look real and not really lame, you know? Donnie Darko did it really well, but Premonition kind of lacked a... flow? I don't know.
The Nanny Diaries was horrible. It was really boring and Scarlett Johansson is lucky she's pretty 'cause I think she's a wretched actress. Her face never shows any expression and she always uses the same tone of voice.
BUT. I hope you like it. =)
Do manga volumes count? If so, I recommend Cardcaptor Sakura.
Wasn't that a show? I remember seeing it when I was 12/13 and thinking it was ridiculous, haha. Is the manga different from the TV show?
Ha ha. The show you watched was probably the American version of it called Cardcaptors. No. It's the books. Manga is pretty much a Japanese comic, but ours are in English, if you didn't know. And the manga is SO much better. Now the original anime of it is called Cardcaptor Sakura. It's pretty much about this girl who's all bright and cheery who accidently opens a book called The Clow and let's out a creature. She has to then fight/retrieve the so-called cards she let out and blah blah blah. XD
That's exactly what the lame cartoon was about when I saw it when I was thirteen, lol.
I can't believe you're still cutting me over this. This is so juvenile.
It isn't over anything. We don't talk, and you don't update much. I don't see how it's such a big deal. :/
Well let's see, I updated Tuesday and then went away for the weekend with no computer and then came back and worked in the early morning and see, I'm in college and have homework and classes and I'm busy so I'm sorry if I don't update 3 times a day, but I didn't know it was a necessity to be your friend. Whatever, this is ridiculous.
**THURSDAY, it was even more recent than Tuesday, I updated last Thursday. And I'm writing tonight, if you actually gave me a chance and didn't cut me.
Whatever, like I said, juvenile.
How is updating and talking not a necessity of being someone's friend? Seeing as how it is the INTERNET, it's not as if we are hanging out at the mall. All my e-friends and I have are conversations, comments, and updates. None of which you and I have.
It isn't juvenile. I never talk to you, I don't understand why you're so set on staying my friend. It's not as if anything would be missing.
So basically, you're telling me that people can't go on vacation or have homework from school. OK, well then I guess I'll keep to friends who like me for me, not my addiction to the internet.
What?
You're not making any sense, Sarah. If anybody is being immature or juvenile about this, it's you.
I'm sorry that I don't want to bulk up my friends list full of people I never talk to, people who only talk to me when they're complaining about me deleting them, and people who don't put any effort forward to take the "friendship" from a name-on-a-list stage to the actual-friends stage.
I never ONCE said you needed to update every single day and comment every single one of my entries. If you IMed me on AIM once in awhile, left me a comment on Myspace, or did ANYTHING in an effort to communicate with me, I wouldn't have a reason to delete you.
I'm sorry you're incapable of understanding that I want the people on my friends list to actually BE friends, and not just random usernames that are taking up space.
Like I said, I'm sorry the internet isn't my life and I embrace the real world.
One day the internet won't do everything for you anymore and you'll be left alone in your world with no idea how to make it besides on the internet. There is a world out there, did you know that? Spend some time in it, maybe you'll understand what I'm saying.
I find it ironic that this is coming from somebody who is freaking out because I deleted them from an online journal. Practice what you preach, sister.
... Also, you're trying to point out how I don't live in the "real world", which makes no sense.
I have a job. I pay bills. I'm home less than half of every day, and half of that time, I'm sleeping.
You really have absolutely no idea what you're talking about, and that's quite unfortunate because until today I wouldn't have thought that you'd throw such a fit over something so insignificant.
Have you read Choke? Im sure you have. I loved it. I loved Speak and this book Because I Remember Terror, Father I Remember You. I mean, if you want to check them out.
Have you seen the movie Elephant? Pan's Labrynth? Cecil B Demented? Amelie? House of D? Igby Goes Down? any of those? Elephant was weird...but for some reason i loved it. The other's are must-sees...if you haven't seen them already.
I just wanted to say hey. I added you. I was a friend on GJ. Awkward_lungs.
I'll add you back! I was wondering if you had a Scribbld account, because I've seen you post on hippies journal lately, and the word contrary reminds me of you because of the "contrary_whim" thing, lol. 1. I've read Choke and Speak. I'll check out the other one! Have you read "Such a Pretty Girl"? You should check that one out if you haven't! 2. I've seen Elephant, Pan's Labyrinth, and Amelie. I'll rent the other three once I get my online Blockbuster thingy set up again! I love new movies to watch. You should check out: Paris, Je T'aime, Mirrormask, annnnd... Idk, watch Heroes, rofl!
