Physical description (face, build, weight): Certain is six feet tall with pale violet eyes that glow with hidden power. His hair is black, and he has an attractive smile, though he does it less and less these days.

Abilities:  Cerdian possesses the physical capabilities of an Atlantean, included increased strength in water (Up to 8 tons), increased durability, and slightly enhanced reflexes. He is versed in Order Magic through his studies, allowing him to create a variety of effects. He also possesses the gifts (or curses) of precognition and limited post-cognition.

Like his father, Cerdian favors spells and magic that affect water, though he has been working to add wind to his repetoire as well. Though he can use his mystic abilities as well as his precognition and post-cognition without water available, both function far more precisely when he is near or in the water, or uses water as a focus.

His foci are his staff, a shell pendant that Cait gave to him for his birthday long ago, and water. He either carries a canteen or a sports bottle of water as a quick and dirty focus. He's also memories over two-hundred different mystic hand-movements and foci for some of his lesser and intermediate rotes, most for warding and some offense.

Weaknesses and flaws: Cerdian can be impulsive and stubborn at times, especially where it concerns the people he loves. He will suffer if he is away from the water for extended periods, his magic suffers without his foci, as he is an adept of Order. One of his foci will allow him to cast with greater accuracy, but without any of them, there is just as much chance any of his spells will fail as they will succeed.

Backstory: Cerdian is the son of Garth, also called Tempest, who was once the partner of Aquaman. After years of adventuring, the young mage fell in love with Dolphin, who bore him Cerdian. Cerdian has spent years wanting to become a mage like his father and have great adventures. He's visited the surface in the past and become good friends with the West Twins and Lian Harper, but Cait Curry is much like his sister, and she is as blood to him.

After completing his trials, Cerdian is recognized as a full-member of the Sorcerer's Circle of Atlantis, though he is still a junior member. The trials have changed him deeply, and he is now older in outlook, and hopefully, wiser.

How do you plan to introduce the character to the game?: Cerdian is returning to the surface after a long time away.

What are you planning to do with this character?: Cerdian is getting reacquainted with old friends and coming to check upon those he's seen in his visions. He's seen good and bad coming for all of them and he wants to help where he can, though he knows he shouldn't.

What do you want to see happen with this character?: I'd like to see him build closer relationships with his Atlantean friends and others in the DC Universe.
