Road Trip Meme: Zoe
To the extent that GK Walker knew how to drive, he knew how to drive in the rain. He was from Seattle, after all. However, a little ways into this trip up to Seattle to hear Uncle Jed and Zoe's Mom's big news ... "Zoe, it's starting to get a lot worse."

"I know how to drive." She did. Had a license and everything She didn't drive much, though. Hardly ever.

"The thing is," she said, flinching when the lightning seemed too close for her liking. She solved that problem by closing her eyes. Then opened them because she was convinced deep down that they'd crash if she didn't watch the road. "The thing is, Mom's happy. I want her to stay happy."

	The lights seemed to back off for a moment. Then they got closer. Zoe got an itch between her shoulders, a signal that she wanted to shoot something.
