Game-Wide Plot!
"The International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy is a law in the wizarding world that was first signed in 1689, then established officially in 1692.[2] The law was laid down by the International Confederation of Wizards to safeguard the wizarding community from Muggles, and hide its presence from the world at large."Wizards have been living in a separate world from muggles for almost three hundred years. Even though most are fine and satisfied with this situation, there are some who believe that they should not have to hide who they are. They should not have to conceal their broomsticks or their quidditch stadiums, and they believe that they should have more freedom to roam the world that has seemingly been taken over by muggles.
These wizards and witches are not necessarily associated with You-Know-Who. They are just proud of their magic and don't want to be suppressed by the these seemingly unfair laws.
So, they are taking a stand.
Random acts of surprise, confusion, and yes, violence are popping up all over England; specifically near muggle areas. Obliviators are working over time other magical residents are being used as pawns to showcase their abilities to muggles.
- Think of the most magical things ever, and have them put in a muggle setting. Is your character the cause? Are they trying to stop it? Maybe they're just caught in the middle and have no idea what to do.
- Group threads are welcome!
- Be creative--there are plenty of ideas on the Lexicon and Wikia that show wizards messing with muggles. Maybe your character could be apart of those?
- There are serious consequences for breaking these rules; even if your character isn't the one causing the mess, what if they get caught in the middle of it?
- Death Eaters who are currently laying low/bored...this seems like a good way to branch out, eh?
- Magical animals unleashed in muggle places! Boggarts, anyone?
- Foods that have magical tendencies, like funny candies and the like.
- POTIONS sold, under the guise of lose-weight quick drinks, hair growth etc. etc.
