Happy Valentine's Day, stage! Do you remember how, in your childhood, you would wait anxiously for the time of day when the teacher announced that everybody could pass out valentines to one another? Do you remember standing in the festive aisle at the drug store, debating between princess and superhero cards on which you'd write your name, attach a miniature piece of candy, and hope that you would trade it for one from the love of your five year-old life? Well, those days are back again – minus the cooties and minus the tough decision of Winnie the Pooh cards vs. Tom and Jerry ones. For seven days, members will have the opportunity to submit a valentine graphic of their own design, which will then all be compiled into a pool of valentines that people may choose from to send to one another. The single requirement is the valentine(s) be sized at 300wx200h! You may submit as many as you like, and they're due by the 12th. During the last two days before Valentine's Day, members may comment the post, citing which valentine they'd like to send, and to whom, and can also leave a message (poem, song, note, present, anything!) to be attached to the card. Each message shall be kept a surprise until they are delivered on Valentine's Day.
Alright, gang it's time to pick your valentines or submit more personal ones of your very own. Take a look at the ones offered, pick out the one you want and submit it in a comment with the name of the person you want it sent to and any note, song, gift, poem.. what have you of your pleasing! You can also submit one you personally made for someone and we'll deliver those, too! You have through early tomorrow morning to get them in and the valentines will be delievered by us late tomorrow afternoon/evening.

I don't understand why Cupid was chosen to represent Valentine's Day. When I think about romance, the last thing on my mind is a short, chubby toddler coming at me with a weapon.
Excited about Valentine's Day? Not into Valentine's Day? Would you rather be SAD? This Singles Awareness Day season, you may vent to your heart's content. Post your confessions, hopes, admirations, rants, raves, or heartbreaks anonymously. All comments will be initially screened, please do not call or refer to anyone by their name unless it's a valentine-themed note.
Note: We have decided to turn screening off when the moderators are around, BUT if there is any trouble whatsoever we will be turning it back on, please behave.
