Oooh, The Killer Angels. I started reading that book when I was writing my paper on the influence of John Wayne's "The Searchers" on Serenity for my film class, as that's the book that bunnied Joss into creating Firefly. It was fascinating, but I wasn't able to continue reading it because it wasn't going to be as informative to my paper as I'd hoped and I was already drowning under the weight of my other classwork. I'd like to pick it up again, now that I'm out of school!
