The man, tall and lanky with dark hair and a darker scowl, leaned back in his chair. He reached up to scratch his ear, and then the cameras went out.
Loker swore, then twisted to look up at Lightman. "You're serious about this."
"Very." Lightman leaned over Loker, ignoring the fuzzy static on the computer screen in favor of the man in the lab. "He said he was a wizard, Loker, and I believe him."
Loker stared. "Uh, okay. I'm gonna go get Foster now, if you don't mind..."
"I'm not crazy," Lightman said. "Neither is he. Don't interrupt us, now." He turned away and went into the lab.
This was gonna get weird fast. Loker sighed, and decided he might as well make popcorn.
