The castle has been awfully quiet of late. Strange. Even I'm starting to get concerned...
Despite how much I'm appreciating the silence, the downside of this matter is that it is leaving me bored and unamused. The stupidity of other people has always been quite entertaining; the lack of it is disappointing. However, the urge to cause mayhem myself is almost too strong to resist...

I do believe I need to extend my library.
I badly need a good read. Suggestions are most welcome...

That it is. Pity those who get plagued with it more often than I do.

Oh, I know. How about Pride & Prejudice, Theodore? That sounds right up your alley.

I'm afraid that would be me.

Brilliant, Amy. I think I was given a copy by my grandmother last Christmas. It should be here somewhere...
Familial and social conflicts, forbidden love, confusion, admiration ... How could I have resisted reading this for so long?

Me and my addiction to books. You do have to pardon that small rant.

Poor Theodore. Next time I'll be sure to include you in whatever excitement I come across.

Putting forbidden love and confusion together seems to be some sort of combination for avid readers to salivate. It's interesting. How about Lord of the Rings?

Oh, you're excused. I could never hold such a thing against you.

That's sweet. Thank you...

It is. It's a flavor I can't seem to get enough of myself. This is perhaps the reason why I need to extend my library. All the classics involved conflicted love in some form or another...

Lord of the Rings? What is that about? I believe I've heard of it before...

I aim to please. Occasionally.

Ever notice how unimaginative the love stories are sometimes? I reckon it's not terribly difficult to find something somewhat unique to base a romance off of. But that's just me, of course. We'll have to be sure to really expand your library.

It's about good and evil, basically. A powerful ring, hobbits trying to destroy it...mayhem and deceit ensue. Quite the interesting read.

I'm honored to be at one of the occasional receiving ends, then.

The fact that it's a romance, I believe, requires some form of love story between its pages. Writers tend to believe that love is the most beautiful thing in this Earth, that's why they often chose to revolve their stories around it. I, however, am in no position to complain.

You've made it sound quite an interesting read. Would you happen to have a copy?

Don't get too honoured, it may not last long. Though I suspect you're a worthy candidate.

I didn't know you were so fond of love in the everyday world, Theodore. My only wish is that I find that perfect love story that is not overly dramatic and perfect. Love can be quite messy. Not that I'm an expert, I only pretend to know.

I have a very cherished copy, indeed. It hasn't been read it quite some time.

Done. I've gotten over being honored. Happy?

Did I ever say I was? Love, as much as it is beautiful, is also one of the ugliest things in this world to be quite honest. Think about it. Jealousy, hate, lust, regret; those are things that cannot possibly be summoned without even a small ounce of love.

Might I borrow it, by chance? I'd be eternally grateful.

Not really, but that's because I'm never happy. I can pretend to be, however.

That was almost poetic, the way you worded that. Ever consider becoming the next Edgar Allen Poe? Do you know Poe? Or know of him, rather.

Of course you can. I'll give it to you next time I see you.

Then pretend, if you wish. You'd be glad to know I'm not going to stop you...

Yes, I do know him and no, I doubt I can rival his genius. I only try to explain things at the best of my efforts. I do hope you saw my point, however. I'm only being truthful.

Thank you. ANything you'd wish for in return? I am, after all, a man that desires fairness...

Yes, very glad. So glad I may just jump for joy.

He is a genius, indeed. I try to read something by him every night before bed. I saw your point. Thankfully I am not as slow as some of those around us.

I can't think of anything right now. But I'll remember that offer, don't you worry.

Ah. Sarcasm. How refreshing.

Thankfully. This school is sadly infested with ignuramuses. It's such a shame. I am, admittedly a fan of Shakespeare. I know not a soul who does not appreciate his work.

You should. I'd be crushed if you didn't consider it.

Sarcasm from me? Darling, you're a tad confused.

It's getting worse every year. Thankfully we'll be away from it all soon. Though you must admit, it provides small amounts of amusement. What's your favourite Shakespeare work?

I'd hate to see you crushed. I'd be entirely crushed over it.

Am I?

Yes. I just need to get through this year, then I'll be off taking care of the family businesses. Oh what fun that would be.
Amusement? Indeed. The lack of action these days is terribly disappointing though.

I do not have one, I'm afraid. I'd consider one, then remember why I liked the other, then another. What's yours? Perhaps you can help me decide.

You're truly lovely. Have I told you that?

Just a tad. It's curable.

Perhaps if we work as a team. I'm normally not one for joining these things called teams, but it's a bit irresistible when you're on it. That does sound fun. I can even feel the fun already. There's never any action. We should cause some.

Perhaps Othello. Ask me tomorrow and it may or not be the same.

I don't think you have, but you've certainly gone a bit mad for it.

Oh Thank Merlin! It's curable.

Neither am I. I'm not for the 'all for one, one for all' rubbish some people follow. Causing some action, is somehow greatly appealing to me though. Suggestions?

DO not mock me, my lady! I am merely telling the truth!

If it wasn't, I may have to stop speaking with you.

It's good to know I can find something that appeals to you, even if it involves sportsmanship. Let me think about that one, unless you have some brilliant ideas you'd like to share?

Mocking? Nope, never.

I would do anything to cure this boredom. I don't have any ideas at the moment. Surely, if I did, I would already have told you...

Good.
