Letter to the Editor
It's been awhile since the Editors here at The Prophet have gotten such a thought provoking letter, especially on such a delicate subject, we couldn't help but publish.

Three years since we have read about Death Eaters in The Prophet. Three years since a publicized attack.

Yet, where is the reward for the Aurors who fought so valiantly to protect us? Not a word spoken of them since either. Instead, more often than not, they are shove aside to desk jobs when they can no longer handle the fieldwork that took so much from them. No longer useful to the M.L.E., the thanks they get is being carefully hidden away so no one has to remember the horrors that once plagued us.

It’s outrageous the lack of credit these men and women get. Sure every Halloween we celebrate the fall of he-who-shall-not-be-named. Celebrate the boy who lived, but Harry Potter was a
baby. Why don’t we celebrate those who were tortured trying everything in their power to stop you-know-who as well? Who gave everything to fight the same fight. The Ministry can’t even do a proper job of helping them cope with the fact the war is over.

This needs to change. The Ministry needs to help our Aurors. We need to help our Aurors. We can’t just pretend the war never happened. We can’t forget those who volunteered to fight for us, because we never know just when we’ll need them again.

What do you think readers? Does this anonymous sender have a point? Or are they exaggerating the apathy towards the Aurors? Does it even help to draw such attention to the war that has been over for years?

Axebanger Revealed as 'The Other Man!'

In this Daily Prophet Sports Section EXCLUSIVE, Regina Bagshot, former fiancée of Magpies' Chaser Thomas McCormack reveals to us why this Sunday's match up of the Kenmare Kestrels and the 'Pies is going to be the one for the ages.

"Well, it's quite the predicament, isn't it? Support my ex, who is so obviously still devoted to me...or my new, much more exciting man! Really, what's a girl to do?"

Now, normally this sports writer wouldn't sit down and listen to such gossip, but come on! Where have all the rivalries been? I'm here to rev up the excitement, we've got the Catapults vs. Tornadoes match up this weekend that usually ends up in bloodshed, but with Adrian Mattias, Catapults Beater, freshly engaged to the Tornadoes newest Chaser, what fun's that going to be?

Let's see some red, people!!

PROTECTIVE HOUSING TO BE PROVIDED TO ALL MUGGLEBORNS!
In an extremely generous move, the Ministry of Magic is developing housing complexes outside of the wizarding village of Hogsmeade, where muggleborn wizards and witches will live in without fear. The flats will provide all the amenities needed and the security will ensure the safest possible environment for the muggleborn community.

All registered muggleborns must move into the registered flat before January 1st, 1980. If you do not move in by the requirements, your status at your job will be revoked even if the management has paid the fines to provide security for muggleborns. Access to Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade will also be denied.

Information packages will be received in the post shortly.
