THIS JUST IN!
Thomas McCormack and Saoirse Mullet, the two quidditch players who were kidnapped and held for ransom Sunday evening arrived at St. Mungo's late last night after apparently escaping their captors' holding cells. Upon reaching St. Mungo's the two were immediately rushed to the emergency room. Reports state that Mullet is suffering from dehydration and McCormack is in critical but stable condition because of injuries sustained.
When able, the two gave detailed reports of their kidnapping and with the information provided the hitwizard squadron was able to uncover the headquarters of the vigilante group. Radicals from the Pro-Squib Alliance that calls themselves S.A.M.E. (The Society for Active Magic Exchange) were arrested and are currently detained in hitwizard holding cells.
Invesitgators believe that these members of S.A.M.E. are more the culprits behind the rash of seemingly random abductions from this past summer. One of those arrested was Jonah Cotton, son of Appley Arrows' owner Gregory Cotton, which may be the link behind McCormack and Mullet's kidnappings. No word yet on any confessions.
The families of the victims wish for their privacy to remain in tact and St. Mungo's has stepped up their security. Only immediate family is allowed visitations at this time; any 'get well' gifts sent to the hospital will be donated to the children's ward.
