I don't know. She doesn't even know what she thinks of me, because I'm pretty fucking sure she basis every opinion she has off of what other people tell her to think. It's fucking infuriating.

I do know that she thinks I lied to her - which is complete horse shit, seeing how I never once told her anything about me that isn't true. She says I 'kept it from her', that I'm a halfblood, meanwhile she was the one who just assumed I was, because I kept showing up at events with a very specific guest list. She never asked why I was there, so I never bothered to tell her that I was there on business for the firm because I didn't think it was important.

You haven't! You haven't lied to her. Cecilia---the whole family is----~~God they're going to kill me for---~~ Their older brother Nick was disowned for marrying a muggle woman, blown straight off the tapestries, wouldn't help him out when that M.A.G.I.C. act was questioning people's bloodlines.

And then there's me, who's a halfblood but at least I'm half Nott and that's respectable, but they still hate me, but I figure that after the shock of Nick I wasn't such a bad thing, and it's not like Adamina would have heirs and-----Cecilia got the brunt of it, is what I'm saying. I think she's the one the family is trying to force into making their pureblood ties and---it has to be hard.

She's not very nice about everything but I can't really blame her for it. I mean---I defend Adamina when I can, but I've never been very close to Cecilia.

I’m sure it’s very hard, being put in that position – but I can only be so sympathetic. She didn’t even care that Rosier was a Death Eater – she didn’t care what he did to all those people who didn’t deserve to die, just because of their bloodline, and she knew about it. I know that what happened with Rookwood must have been humiliating for her, but you would think that after all the shit that’s happened in the past with these men, she’d be a little more open to the idea of being with someone for who they are, instead of what they are.

I just want her to decide whether or not she wants to be pimped out by her parents for the rest of her life until she can find the perfect pureblood man to pop out a dozen babies for, or if she wants to take a risk for once in her damn life instead of just standing there and letting other people make every fucking decision for her.

I doubt she’ll ever see me again, so I don’t even know if it’s worth it for me to even care about what she does anymore.

Well...not with her. She's loved me for me since I sent her anonymous owls with comic books strapped to their legs. But I do my best to keep her parents happy because I know family means a lot to her, I deal with Nick who always has a temper because she loves her brother so much, and on the rare occasions we do see Cecilia I'm as cordial as possible even though she gives me looks that show she thinks I'm lower than dirt.

So---yeah, I guess I do. It's worth it.
