Ben Parker makes his way through the ESU dorms, smiling at every girl he meets. Several of them smile and giggle in return, and Ben acknowledges that maybe, just maybe, coming to visit his bookworm sister is fun sometimes. Of course, having to bring her cookies and extra money for the week is not his idea of a good time. Maybe if he hurried, he could catch a couple of the girls downstairs and head to Big Mike’s Burger Joint. The team might even be there right now.

He knocks on the door.

"No matter what name they put me under, I'm still too awesome to vanish completely." Ben says with a self-satisfied smirk.

"I'm not spying, really. Besides, you don't have any boys in here, so I can't talk about what I didn't see. Though, I wouldn't be surprised if he comes to visit himself. Oh, I'm supposed to give you this." Ben says, pulling some money from his pocket.

"Mom and Dad figured you'd need it." he says, lying back on the bed.

"Coach Thompson said something about that once. He also says that it's hard to believe I'm Dad's kid, since we're so different. No one calls me 'Puny' Parker, though. Coach T won't let 'em." Ben says, a little proudly.

"I'd go to all your gymnastics meets just to check out all the hot girls, but that would come a close second to cheering for my big sister." he grins. "Besides, Dad would declare it a family outing and I'd have to go anyway. But at least you aren't mean like most big sisters.

And are you sure you don't have any single friends around here? I mean, I'm mature for my age. And can I borrow the True Blood DVD's, please? I swear, I won't tell Mom about them, and I'll make sure she and Dad never see them." he promises.

May snickered. "Your ego alone would need its own identity."

"I don't have time for boys," she said, taking the money, "School, gymnastics, and being a superheroine kind of make having a love life hard."

She stashed the wad of cash in her desk drawer. "Thanks. I was running a little low, anyway."

May chuckled. "You're not exactly puny either, Ben. Never have been. Actually...neither of us have exactly been 'short'. I swear, I think I was born five-feet tall already."

She let his ragging on Dad go again. Someday...they'd get along. Luckily. She could see where Ben would get frustrated.

"Positive," she said, "None of them are really into the whole Demi Moore/Ashton Kutcher thing anyway. And no. Because it's Mom. She'll find out. Mom finds out EVERYTHING."

"But everyone at school says the show is awesome, May! I'm, like, the only person who hasn't seen it and isn't aloud to watch it." he says, sighing in frustration.

"I mean, come on! It's Deborah Ann Woll!" he exclaims. Ben has, what might be defined in lesser mortals, as a crush on Deborah Ann Woll.

"Girls my age at school are so...fake. Most of them only talk to me because I'm on a team and hang out with the older guys. Most of the Varsity Squad is cool, too, because Coach T gave me a chance.

The only decent girl is at school is Penny, and she's like my sister. And Jake likes her, and that's against Bro-Code." Ben says.

"Well...I'm working on a photography portfolio, since my Journalism teacher saw a few of my shots and said I have some talent. Turns out she knows Robbie Robertson over at the Daily Bugle. I was there before I got here. Mr. Robertson said they could use another photographer for the summer, but I need more pictures.

Do you think...maybe you'd be up to let me take a few of you? You don't have to model or pose or anything. Like just a few in the park, being natural." he says.

"And if you want to toss me a couple of a certain someone, that could only help, too." Ben says. "But I'd rather have just you."
