I think I'm going to make a poster or something for the Quidditch match. I haven't done that in a while, used to do it all the time last year.

Now would be a good time I think to remind SOME people that there are certain things you can't do in the halls. Like picking fights. I swear I've had to break up three fights in one bloody week!

Oh, my book is missing. Yes, again. I thought I left it in the library but when I went to check it wasn't there. So if anyone sees a copy of Peter Pan, check the insides and if there's a lot of notes then it's mine and I would like to have it back. Thank you.

I decided to go to the dance.

Paisley

Will you put my happy face on the poster?

Do you always write a lot of notes in your books?

I could. I'll have to warn you though, your head might turn out to be shaped like those american footballs. I suck at drawing.

Yes, I write down what I think for the most part. Unless it's something older like Jane Austen, I have to write so I can understand what the people are saying.

I've been told it looks like that already, though I beg to differ.

I reckon that's a good way to figure things out, though you're probably smart and figure things out easily.

I have seen you around, I don't think it looks like one.

Only when I put effort into things and you can guess how often that is. Usually it's only towards the books I read.

I don't think people really care about what you can and can't do in the halls, sadly.

I love Peter Pan!

I have half a mind to just let those kids get hurt but I'd feel too bad.

Do you? I do too! My dad used to read it to me before I go to bed.

Perhaps they'd learn a lesson that way. Though I'm not sure if the best lessons come from violence.

Me, too! Or rather, my Gran used to. I still like reading it before bed.

I agree, I would rather not have them learn the hard way.

Really? That's pretty cool. Same here.

Paisley darling I think only a handful of people would have Peter Pan book. So I'm pretty sure if I see it I will know it is yours. I will keep my eyes out.

I suppose that's true. Shame on those who don't have it.

Thanks!

Sorry, Howell. While I can't doubt your poster making abilities, I just don't think it'll be enough to beat us.

Good luck with finding your book, though.

You think so do you, Vaisey? Care to make a wager on that?

My book has been saved, thanks to Stewart.

Malcolm Baddock's already taking bets, but I can always add more. What did you have in mind, exactly?

Good to know.

I have it! I was wondering whose it was. It's funny because you have all these notes but not a name, but it's good that you said something. I could give it to you during Study Hall? Or I'm going to be in the Library again tomorrow afternoon, so I'll carry it around just in case I see you.

You're amazing Stewart, thank you! Did I really forget to put my name on it? Damn.

Sure, you can give it back during Study Hall.

An old Peter Pan copy was left decaying on a library table by the Divination Section. I avoided it in fear of catching some sort of skin disease.

Out of curiosity, why have you chosen such a book to make notes in? Are the sentence structures- lines like "We can fly!"- too difficult for you to comprehend?

I highly doubt you can get a skin disease from an old book.

Because I started writing in my books since I was 7 and Peter Pan happened to be one of the first books I started writing in. Mostly it was just thoughts about what happened throughout the book.

You can.

How... odd. The value of every book that even brushes against your hands decreases significantly then. Such a waste. One can only wonder why you still carry around a book you first read when you were seven...

Because, it's something I loved as a child. I like going back and reading it every now and then, especially reading the notes I make, I find it interesting.

However, if you did not notice, Wendy, I didn't ask.

Let's see. Sword fights, pirates, indians, kidnapping, going off on adventures, never growing up.

A lot of children I'd think would find that amusing.
