Name: Collin Jameson
Age: 24
Date of birth: October 9, 1984
Occupation: Unemployed
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Relationship Status: Single

Personality:

Positives: Quiet, Shy, Gentle, Calming, Protective, Warm, Considerate, Strong
Negatives: Quiet, Shy, Unconfident, Easily picked on and bullied.

Summary: Unlike his sisters, Collin, even from a very early age, seemed.. underdeveloped. He was always quiet or soft spoken during conversations, and when it came to meeting new people? Well, no thank you. He was content with just following his sisters around quietly and just simply being in their presence. Despite often being pestered or picked on by his siblings, he never seemed to really get into any conflicts with them, and would always step up and be the mediator between sister-sister fights and arguments. Someone had to make sure that the high levels of estrogen didn't kill anyone.

Despite his insecurities, he's a genuinely happy kid most of the time. His shyness interrupts plenty of social interactions he should be having and should have had, but he's okay with being close to his family.. except for Sarah, for obvious other reasons.

Collin is the type of friend anyone would truly hope to have. He's the best person to just vent to, since he offers no sense of judgement being passed on whatever the situation or person, and his hugs are supurb. However, since his exposure, he has been fighting a constant inner battle, trying greatly to supress something that seems like a raging beast inside of him. He believes its just years of pent up aggression, though little does he know that its his genetic relationship to the instinctive programming of a bear against his usually peaceful human psyche. When he is angered or threatened, like.. actually life-threatened, be very much afraid of his wrath, because right now? Its uncontrollable.

History:
Family: Constance Jameson (mother, deceased), Elton Jameson (father), Melanie Jameson (step-mother), Mary Jameson-Cartwright (older sister), Sarah Butler (older sister), Grace Jameson (younger sister), John Butler (brother-in-law), Cecilia Porter (step-sister), Shawn Porter (step-brother)

Summary: The Jameson's really were a decent looking family. Two parents, four children, and an American dream. Collin, specifically, despite being the only male of the children, was probably the last one anyone ever truly worried about. Mary was old and independent enough to start her own life faster than any of them. Sarah was, well, Sarah. And Grace was the youngest, so she was naturally spoiled rotten. All of them had some sort of flair, all of them had some sort of energy.. It just must've not carried over into the Y chromosome. Collin was very easy to take care of, constantly obeying his mother, father, or whatever nanny or sitter was around to take care of them. If he was asked to do something, he would attempt to do it, it might not have been the most successful way (like asking him to do something, and he does, but does it in such a wrong way that something ends up being destroyed, but he was just too damn cute to get upset with him? Yeah. That sort of thing). Collin was fond of his older sisters, and when in public situations, would prefer to cling to them, especially Sarah, when crowds seemed too big and frightening. He felt they could protect him, and thus, he learned that he too needed to protect his family, especially his youngest sister, since they were the closest in age.

Grace had her hobbies, Sarah had.. well, whatever it was she was doing (mostly things that Collin intentionally kept himself naive to), and Collin? Well.. Collin liked to work. He wasn't much of a play sort of kid, especially when grammar school came around and he had to work on things like homework and projects. Unlike the other children, it was difficult for him to comprehend what was going on, so instead of taking remedial classes, his parents held him back a year so that he could catch up and perhaps develop a bit more. Well, he certainly developed, though not in the way his parents had hoped. Collin was twice the size of his classmates, which often lead to teasing simply because of the drastic difference. It truly bothered him, though his father was very supportive and hopefull that he might be able to play sports well enough. This hope and support were probably the only things that really kept Collin motivated when he first started playing sports. Baseball was too complicated, Hockey was too angry, but football seemed just right for the boy. Naturally, the coaches loved him, and his size was constantly being questioned by opposing teams. Pretty soon it was time for High School, and football was Collin's golden ticket out of social awkwardism.

Freshmen and Sophomore years were a particular struggle, mostly because that's when boys began 'The Change'and when girls really started becoming a factor. He had managed to get a girlfriend, though the relationship didn't last very long due to lack of interest in physicalities. He wasn't interested in kissing or sex. He was interested in just.. work. Just like the Jameson head of the house. When he wasn't at practice or at the weight room training, he was struggling with his homework just to maintain grades good enough to stay on the team. When he turned sixteen though, his mother died, and like Grace, he was completely devestated. He felt as though all of his hard work was for nothing. Even to this day, death is a very difficult concept for him to grasp. His grades began slipping, and he didn't even bother playing football his junior year, simply to help his sister and their father cope with the loss. If losing their mother wasn't enough, seeing his older sister being arrested on the day of their mother's funeral? It was the first time that Collin truly felt some degree of anger, and like their father, exiled Sarah. Senior year started to pick up his spirits though, and he was back playing football. Collin had gotten the attention of a few scouts which would eventually help him into college on a full ride scholarship. It was an opportunity he knew he couldn't pass up, but he felt terribly guilty for leaving his younger sister behind.

Unless Mary kept to a straight path too, it seemed that the heir of the Jameson name was the only child to keep a straight, honest path. He successfully finished college with a degree in fire science and immediately hired as a fire fighter from the nearby town. When he got wind that all of his siblings were down in South Carolina, well, he missed his family far too much and decided to go on a whim: the very first impulsive move in his life. Luckily for him, his job was secured with the town's department. It has yet to be determined if this was a good move, or a big mistake.

Power: Feral Therianthopy. After being exposed like many of the townsfolk, Collin's genes seemingly mutated themselves as a reaction to the chemical spilled by the oil tanker. His DNA has since de-evolutionized down to coding similar to that of a bear. Collin's hearing and sense have smell have increased dramatically, though he is beginning to lose his eyesight. Collin's strength has also increased, though he has yet to see or understand its full potential. There are other aspects of his mutation that have not yet evolved or been triggered by psychologically stressful events such as the physical mutations that will come (larger, sharper canines, claws). He has noticed that he's gotten a littler hairier, though hair (right now) is easily kept under control by regular grooming. Collin's ability will also eventually mutate under highly stressful situations that are triggered by the smell of blood (from anyone/thing that isn't actually related to his own blood). Consider it like a bloodlust where adrenaline is overly pumped throughout his body and he loses himself to the instinct of the bear. It does not make him stronger or faster than a regular adrenaline rush, but it does make him less cognitive of physical and emotional pain for a short span of time. When the bloodrage wears off, it will leave him extremely depleted and early on, with a heavy sense of amnesia of the event.

PB = Jake | Gyllenhaal
