New Site Theme (Beta?) & Bug Close

Hey all,

I've been working on adding a new theme for Scirbbld. As much as I love the bland one that comes with the source code I thought it would be cooler to have something a bit different. I tried to stick with a minimalistic theme, something simple and not to drastically crazy insanely different. Anyways, you're more then welcome to continue using the older theme, but I won't be supporting (not that there's much to support about it).

So you can visit http://www.scribbld.net/manage/settings/ and change to the 'Scribbld' theme. There are others too, but I don't use them.

Ok, I'm going to work on getting some Paid Account/Extra Userpics information up for you all!

OK. Couple things. It's nice to have more than one option available, but:

1) The Viewing Options for all journals has been defaulted to Scribbld and it isn't possible to change to another Viewing Option (Blue&White, etc) because you're just defaulted right back to Scribbld.

2) The Scribbld Viewing Option is resetting the journal privacy settings.

Same here. I tried to change it back to the old one but it just keeps going back to the new one every time I try.

New one is okay though. Just saying.

Hi, I've fixed the bug about changing it back to the older 'BlueWhite' scheme. Try updating the privacy thing and let me know if that works or doesn't.

Yes, I can switch back to "Blue White" so thank you for that!

The "Default privacy of new entries" is still going right back to Public. I tried making a post to see if it was maybe lying, but no dice. Showed up as public.

But it does stick if I change the minimum security field by executing the console line:

I'm perfectly happy with Blue&White, but for another option, this one is definitely nice! The only thing I have against it is the grey background on posts like here, but you know. It's about twenty thousand times better than IJ and their grey background, so I'm not complaining haha. Lovely job.

I like it. Only thing is when you go to the Manage Userpics page the text overlaps in the upload box in Firefox. Not sure about IE.

The new theme is fine, but making it the default changed my accounts' selected viewing options. It's not a huge deal, but it is a headache to go through and change them when I already selected which one I want to use. A poll would have been nice here, as with the userinfo jobbie (I really appreciated that).

I would just go with it except that it screws up some graphics in my profile that we don't want to redo--profile background colours matter to some of us!

Thanks for at least leaving the old option.

The changing of profile graphics is my one pet-peeve, too! The layout is super gorgeous, it's just the grey clashes against the white backgrounds most people lay their profile graphics on.

i like it, but is there any way you could include the search box in the layout? i used that a lot. other than that, nice job :)
