Early Adopters & User Info Style Poll

On Monday January 14, 2008 early adopter accounts will come to an end. All new accounts will be changed to Free Users.

Also on Monday we'll be closing up the user info style poll.

We also added a multi-icon uploader to our downloads page under the Mac section.

Wow, only five icons for Free users? D: That's really bad news for those of us that RP. Really really really bad news. That's the same as GJ threw us all down to in the very end, which was the breaking point that had my RPG decide to move here. Even IJ allows 100 icons for their free users. :/

The I suggest you either:

A. Purchase a paid account
B. Wait until I make those accounts that come with extra user pics 100 and 500. Prices yet to be determined.

The only thing I'm concerned about is my game, as I know not all my members can afford to pay for icons and we roleplayers basically live off of them. Even something like 50 would be better than five. I'm just worried that when we want to pick up new characters, or when someone wants to join, they won't end up being able to do it due to lack of funds! No growth can mean death to a game.

Even as far as donating goes, I've encouraged all my members to do it if they can, but some can't gather up enough. We're a lot of poor college students, I'm afraid, lmao.

I looked for the breakdown of features for each account type, but I couldn't find it. Could you please link me or let us know what the difference between early adopter and free user might be?

I'm really not seeing them and I apologize if I'm looking completely wrong. I see account types but then when I click, it says FAQ does not exist.

Nope, currently those are paid accounts for life. Once we reach the goal to get a new server we'll go to more traditional paid account types that do expire.

So does that mean that any new person who reg an account that will be free but anyone who has an account before Jan. 14 will stay as EA?

Yeah, starting Monday anyone who registers a new account will have a free account type.

Anyone who is EA now is EA for life.
