Character Name: Timothy Kent
Character LJ (if applicable):
http://www.scribbld.net/users/superpowerboy/Physical description (face, build, weight): Tim Kent stands at six feet two inches tall and weighs around 170lbs. He’s got short black hair he keeps in a stylish and spiky cut. His eyes are a deep and stunning green color. He’s got strong, masculine features and there are clear signs of being related to a certain man of steel.
He’s got a very muscled build, sculpted like a statue. Broad shouldered and tall too.
Typically he wears casual and athletically styled clothing. He also wears glasses.
His costume (thankfully changed from a jeans and a t-shirt) is a black and red bodysuit with the family S-shield away from the center of his chest, over the right. The sleeves are t-shirt style and he wears black, fingerless gloves with little yellow bat logos on the back of each hand.. (One of his father’s old costumes:

Age: 16
Birthday: April 20
Codename (if using one): Power Boy
PB: (If using one.) Matt Dallas
Abilities:
Tactile Telekinesis: Tim inherited his father’s famed TTK. Thankfully he hasn’t inherited the need to talk about it every five minutes. Either way, he’s able to exert several thousand tons of force on things, fly up to 60,000 miles an hour in the atmosphere and even faster out in space (no hyper flight though). He’s got a nigh-impenetrable force field that can defend him from harm and others as well. His TTK can also take apart things pretty easily as well…even if putting them back together is a matter best left for someone else. The force field can also provide him with a bubble of protection against hostile environments, allowing him to even travel in space provided he’s got a suitable air supply. The problem is the ‘tactile’ part of the equation. He can only effect things he can touch and himself. Pushing himself, he can extend the TTK aura into a quick bubble with a radius of three feet to protect people around him but it’s a strain and he’ll need a moment or two to recover afterwards. He can project the TTK along floors and walls as well to effect things touching them too.
Heat Vision: A newish power to Tim is the ability to use Kryptonian heat vision like any other member of the ‘SuperFamily’. He has difficulty controlling it though, taking longer to get it to fire and sometimes having trouble stopping it from emitting. Also, two or three uses in a day is usually enough to give him a pretty bad headache.
Super senses:
-Super Vision: Tim’s eyes are much better than a normal person’s. He can see very tiny things down to atoms and see very far away to distant things out in space. He’s also got the standard Kryptonian X-ray Vision.which lets him peek at a great many things as long as they’re not shielded by lead.
-Super Hearing: Tim’s got the standard kryptonian super hearing. He’s able to pick out and focus on single sounds and hear an astounding range even into frequencies only animals would hear.
-And the rest: Tim’s senses of smell, taste, and touch are just as superhuman as his hearing and vision. They just don’t get used as much. After all, it’s not every day that he needs to tell people apart by scent, taste different ingredients in foods, or feel very subtle texture differences to save the world.
Hybrid Physiology: Tim pretty much runs off solar energy and doesn’t need to eat as often as others. He does still eat though to keep his energy reserves full. He can fight without getting tired and even go without sleep for a long time until his solar reserves run out. He can keep going in times where others might break. He doesn’t get earth sicknesses and is immune to earth toxins (unless they’ve been made specifically to affect him) and he ages at an incredibly slow rate. His genetic structure is a scientific marvel and his cellular structure is incredibly dense. And it’s still getting denser as his cells absorb more yellow solar energies. Tim is incredibly resistant to heat, cold, and many of the weapons of man. Superpowers and super-strong opponents still give him a good run for his money but he’s tough enough to get back up and keep fighting when most others have fallen thanks to being part kryptonian. Also if injured, he heals much faster than a normal person.
Martial Arts: Tim’s got basic martial arts training from his mother. He’s not anything special, he just knows how to fight hand to hand.
Potential:
While he doesn’t have them now and likely won’t develop them for quite some time, Tim has the potential to gain the full Kryptonian power set. (would need staff approval, could be used for TP purposes and such if needed)
Weaknesses and flaws:
Kryptonite: Like all kryptonians, Tim’s vulnerable to the various types of kryptonite. His diluted bloodlines make him slightly more resistant to it than others but it still weakens and sickens him. And with enough exposure it could kill him. Thankfully it doesn't affect him as badly as full Kryptonians or even his father. He can hold out against it's effects about four times as long as full blooded Kryptonian and 2 as long as a half-kryptonian.
Red Solar Radiation: The light of the yellow sun can grant Tim phenomenal powers. But the light of a red sun can take them away. Blasts of red solar radiation and exposure to it can render his non-TTK powers useless. It also has the side effect, possibly due to his hybrid physiology, of making him rather sick and dizzy.
Magic: Tim has no real defenses against magic. Direct magical attacks and effects will bypass his defenses easily much like any other kryptonian.
Dimensionally Challenged: Timothy Kent is from another dimension. Another Earth. Since he’s stuck in this one, he’s without friends, family, or familiarity. Some landscapes and elements of everyday life will be different and several people will be as well. It’s a source of stress and confusion for him and may impact his performance in battle if he ends up having to fight someone that he might think is a friend.
Inexperience: Tim was catapulted into another world with only six months of superheroing experience. He’s still prone to rookie mistakes and needs to figure out a lot of what he can do with his powers.
Character location/Home: None, will be crashing into San Francisco and may become homeless.
Alignment (villain, hero etc): Hero
Team: None Yet (hopes to join the Titans)
Relatives (living/dead?): Conner Kent/Kon-El (father), Stephanie Brown (mother), Bart Allen (godfather), Clark Kent/Superman (grandfather), Lex Luthor (grandfather), Lois Lane-Kent (grandmother), Arthur Brown (grandfather), Crystal Brown (grandmother), Match (uncle), unnamed half sister (status unknown), extended family in the Kents, Luthors, and ’House of El’ - All family in/from another dimension/Earth.
Backstory: A few earth’s away, Timothy Kent’s story begins with tragedy. In Gotham City, the Joker launched his latest scheme which eventually led to a fight atop a skyscraper in Gotham City. Batman (Dick Grayson), Nightwing (Jason Todd), Robin (Tim Drake), and Batgirl (Stephanie Brown) faced off against the Joker and his minions while trying to rescue several members of their respective teams and innocent hostages that had been kidnapped.
The battle went well enough but the Joker armed a bomb to make his escape. And released a toxin. While Batman, Nightwing, and Batgirl evacuated the hostages, Rob stayed behind to disarm the bomb so it wouldn’t destroy Gotham. He succeeded but the price was a steep one. Tim Drake died that night.
At the funeral, Stephanie was drawn towards Tim’s best friend Superboy. She and Kon mourned the loss of their friend together and eventually a romance blossomed. Eventually this romance led to a marriage and pregnancy and then the birth of their son. They named him Timothy after their dead friend.
Tim’s childhood was pretty good. He was fully immersed in the hero life from day one and there was never a doubt in anyone’s mind that he’d strap on a costume and join the heroics one day. He spent time with other super kids and eventually picked up the mantle of Superboy (much to his mother’s annoyance and no matter how many times ‘Uncle Dick’ offered to make him Robin). Tim even helped found a new incarnation of Young Justice.
And life was good. Sadly, all things could not stay good. A new threat emerged in the form of a Cyborg Lex Luthor leading the Legion of Doom to attack Metropolis. Tim was among the heroes to respond to the attack and entered the battle alongside his father and Grandfather. During the battle, Cyber Luthor decided to strike a blow against the hearts of his opponents and targeted Tim with a weapon. Struck by a strange missile, Tim ended up trapped in some odd device. Clark and Kon watched on in horror at the massive explosion that followed. And while the heroes eventually won the day, Tim was thought dead.
Unknown to all, he was actually catapulted into another dimension.
How do you plan to introduce the character to the game?: Having him crash into the universe, accidentally cause some destruction.
What are you planning to do with this character?: I don’t have many concrete plans laid out. I’d like him to join up with or atleast befriend the Titans. I’d also like to have him explore and adapt to being in a new world.
What do you want to see happen with this character?: I’d like him to get some friends among the Titans and possibly join them. I’d also like for him to at least once get beaten up by a badguy (or more) and need rescuing. Some difficulty adjusting to a new universe would be nice too. I’d also really like for him to meet this universe’s Super Family.
Please include a sample post/scene:
“Oh yeah!” Tim exclaims as he punches a giant robot and watches it fall over. He stands atop the downed machine and poses heroically as the press starts taking pictures. He can’t help but grin when he notices Grandma Lois in the crowd.
“Who are you?” someone yells.
“Superboy!” Tim declares proudly from behind his sunglasses.
“Why aren’t you wearing a costume?” that question causes Tim to falter a little.
“But I am…” he trails off, looking down at the t-shirt with the S and the jeans he wears. Before Tim gets a chance to answer any more questions or protest about his costume, a red cape suddenly blocks his view. “Dad?” Tim squeaks slightly.
“C’mon, folks, stand back and let the cleanup crews through,” Superman, Kon-El, calls to the crowd. “Go get changed and back with your grandma. We’ll talk when you get home, kiddo. Your mom won’t be happy,” the older super says quickly to his son.
Tim smiles sheepishly and lifts off into the air to go get the civilian clothes he stashed.
