He's heard of such a thing, usually only for a tremendous price or as a favor from a daimyo or the like - and even then, it required negotiating with the owner of the tea house. And he's known this woman only a short time - and yet - its both comfortable, and an irrefusable offer, even if he wished to.
There's another long pause as he tries to make sure he heard her right. "You would wish to... to become as mine?"
