He thanks her profusely in old-world, formal fashion. Then he makes arrangements to see to it that Amiko will have a small donation sent to them in appreciation. The rest of the afternoon is spent having preparations made (correct phrasing - he's still terrible at doing a lot of things himself) for the trip, and packing up his few things.
The following day, carefully noting the instructions to make sure he doesn't miss the place, he'll head to the house. He has to see this for himself.
