She does, I don't doubt that.

I just--I feel like I've had to explain myself a lot because I feel like I have to so I don't upset her, but I don't feel like I should say it back just so she doesn't get upset. Does that make sense? I want to be sure.

Definitely do not say it for that reason. And she shouldn't pressure you to.
