	He had nothing else of value. He agreed without convincing, Sasuke. I gave him one option and he took it without a struggle. I don't like loans, too hard to keep track of. It was better that it was all over with in one night, the money in his hand the next day. If Itachi had a problem with it, he was justified on all grounds to deny it. Yet he didn't. Consider this option for the first time. Consider that the reason I had to so swiftly distance myself from you is because there is someone I care for very deeply, and your well-being became second to their safety.

I'm sure you know by now that threats of any form are not to be taken lightly here. When one is received, it's best to act on preventing it as quickly as possible.
