psycho killers and bitchy doctors
I watched some shit.
Ah, you know, throughout the last season mostly I've been kinda disconnecting with Dexter, for lack of a better word. I don't know, it's just... The mistakes have bothered me. I didn't like Doakes taking the fall and the idea of Dexter killing an innocent person just ffff. But that's forgivable only because the guy was trying to kill Freebo and then kill him, so it was more so self defense. And Dexter did feel regret/guilt, which is good but...
I don't know. Dexter is just dhfsdjkf. I like him, but he pisses me off. And I think that's the normal reaction. If you seriously worship the ground this guy walks on, you have... problems. He doesn't scare me as much as he did in the first season--and by scare, I mean worry, because it was obvious around the first season, he really felt nothing at all. But through the second season and now third, he's started to become more human.
Yet do I like him becoming more human? I like how he feels guilty sometimes, and after killing his brother, how it moved him, but the entire him and Rita getting all lovely dovey makes me ill. I just don't want to see them in a relationship. Don't get me wrong, I don't dislike Rita or anything. I just... don't give a shit about that plot piece. I mean, I think it's essential--it's adding "normal" drama to the series, putting Dexter in a "normal" situation and seeing how he reacts to it. But good God, please, no more fucking, well, fucking, I just--nnggghhh I don't care. And there better not be a chiiilldddd.
I am happy the writers decided to (so far), not make Cody a fucking sociopath. Dexter saying, "He went through Hell, too, but he's worked through it, he's learned to move on." It really sends a positive image, and it doesn't make it seem everyone who is born into a fucked up family is going to turn into some cold, ruthless serial killer. As interesting as that plot is, lol, we don't need another one on our hands and I just found when Cody does turn out to be like Dexter, it was just silly and ridiculous. "Pass on the Code of Harry," blah blah blah, whatever, stupid plot piece is stupid.
With that out of the way, I'm glad Angel got promoted--he's a cool character. And Debra needs to tone it the fuck down. My God; at first I didn't mind her, but as the series has progressed, she's become such an annoying twat. I mean, she has every right to be paranoid of men and scarred after what has happened, but she's so goddamn tactless, boisterous and quick to jump the gun, it's annoying. Especially when she was all yelling "HE'S A FUCKING JUNKIE!!!!", it was like, "wtf Debra shut your whore mouth." Speaking your mind is one thing, but you don't need to be a fucking bitch to do it. Nor do you have to turn everything around and curse it out my God how does anyone carry a fucking conversation with her?
And I like playing Devil's Advocate, I do, so I'm thinking if I like/have created any characters akin to that behavior. But in the end? Nothing. I don't have any characters I like/created anything remotely like her. Might have created some, though, but for story alone.
Couldn't find a preview for the next episode. I forget if they do previews for this show, but still. I like previews.
---
Watching this was a pain in my fucking ass. Only because the only video sources to watch it (so far) are linked to Megavideo, who has shown me a few times how off synch sound and image are. I kept looking and looking for other video sites, but they all link back to the same one. The sound is ahead of the video, so it's a pain to watch and focus on. For me at least. I think the show took nearly two hours for me to watch when it's only 43 minutes because I kept getting frustrated. I could just wait a few more days, hope someone else uploads it on something better, but I want my shot of House ASAP lol.
The episode itself was all right. I feel bad for Taub, even though I shouldn't. He fucked himself over, after all, but still... He really loves his wife, and it did pain him to lie to her the entire time. And his wife was cool, too. I wonder if they're gonna split and next episode reveals that. :/
Of course maybe in the previews they might have said it, but I couldn't find a fucking preview anywhere. I know the show just finished airing about four hours ago, but it airs around 7 or 8 my time, and by 9/10, there were links to watch the entire show on like five different websites (all Megavideo sigh.) YouTube will be flooded with the preview later, but I wanna see it noooooooooooooow. GOD YOU GUYS UPLOAD THE PREVIEWS TOO PLEASE SOME OF US WANNA KNOW WHAT'S GONNA BE COMING UP NEXT!
Also, being told what is going to happen is not as fun as seeing it.
Nothing else really... Lucas and House's friendship is sweet. :) I guess that's it lol? I'm sure a large percent of H/W shippers are having a coronary after seeing this episode and how Lucas has for lack of a better word "replaced" Wilson. Chill, you guys, chill. Wilson's still gonna be around. We'd hear something about him leaving the show, I'm sure. Besides, they gotta resolve this; even if it means never being friends again, they just can't let it end like that. So yes House still cares for Wilson, but we've spent two episodes focusing on his need for him. Give it some air to breath, yes, and this comes from someone who loves House/Wilson and their interactions.
