While I'm not certain what your job is, I think I'll err on the side of safety and say no I likely wouldn't. And there's a trick to being helpful and not getting taken advantage of; it's called having limits. One must be able to figure out when to help and when to tell the other person to suck it up and do it themselves.

Making the sets good is my job. Making them workable is also my job. If anyone involved in the filming process has an issue with them that I can solve, then it is my job to do so. And I never half-ass things.
