Abilities:
Kymellian Sorcery(not magic; matter of translation): Jack wields the Counterweight powerset, controlling gravity in a fairly limited range around himself, and can stabilize severe injuries, heal his broken bones, etc. using the Healing Trick.

Others: Jack has SHIELD training in hand-to-hand fighting.
He has a bachelor's degree in Linguistics, minor in physics.
He speaks fluent English, Spanish, and Kymellian, decent French, Russian, and Zn'rxian. Capable of saving his own life in Mandarin and Shi'ar. Maybe.

Weaknesses and flaws: Otherwise human. Kymellian sorcery can be glitchy in moments of extreme stress. Pride and paranoia issues. Not a fair hand with weapons.

Backstory: At a very young age, Jack and his siblings were granted superhuman abilities by dying Kymellian sorcerer ("it's not magic! It's a translation issue!") Aelfyre Whitemane. The children both became the superheroes Power Pack and were drawn into the war between the Kymellians and the Snarks (name simplified for pronunciation and because Whitey was a litgeek).

Jack was originally the Mass Master, with density powers, but in the various switches had several others as well. He was always the most experimental of the siblings with his abilities, and the least afraid of their potentially lethal consequences (not unafraid; the thought of killing someone did freak him out. Just the least). This made him often considered the most dangerous. He was also the one of the Power siblings to work out how to do the healing trick without the cooperation of all four.

Once grown, Jack entered training in SHIELD, since it provided a chance to protect the world and an opportunity to travel while still having the transportation on hand to get back to his family quickly should Margaret Power's health start failing again.
