Abilities: From her father, Sam has inherited a watered-down version of his gamma-radiation powers. As a sign of this, Sam's eyes are an uncommon shade of green. Sam is not as strong as her father, being only able to lift fifteen tons easily, though she maxes out at around twenty-five tons, and anything heavier than fifteen tons is more strenuous for her to lift. Sam also enhanced durability and a healing factor, though neither on the same level as her father's.

Sam has also had training in both combat and firearms. She is also fairly handy with a computer.

Weaknesses and flaws: Even though she has enhanced durability, Sam can still be hurt and injured. She's also a bit of a sarcastic smartass, so she doesn't get taken seriously all the time.

Backstory:

Aleks Childress and Alice Dugan had been known to "enjoy" each others company when from time to time when they weren't too busy with their duties as being on SHIELD's Special Ops team. One night, after a mission against HYDRA, things got a little heated at the base after it was cleared of all HYDRA agents. After several pregnancy tests, a lot of swearing from Alice, followed by more laughter from Sammy, and nine months later, Samantha Emily Dugan-Childress was born. Alice got her revenge on Sammy four months later when Sammy found out she pregnant with her daughter, Liz. Like their mothers before them, the two girls were practically raised together, and also like their mothers, got into their fair share of trouble.

While her parents never married, they shared the responsibilities of raising their daughter and remained "close friends".

After graduating her senior year of high school with all honors, as promised, her father let enroll in the SHIELD Academy in the fall. She is currently in her first year there.
