Shelby loves to talk about everything, she's really loyal, and can be a little bit selfish. She loves her family to pieces. The most important thing to Shelby is her family, they are everything to her. She of course gets annoyed with them sometimes, but she'd die for her siblings any day if it meant they got to live on. She's a bit of a contradiction in the fact she'd do anything for them, but she wants all the attention for herself when it comes to a social setting. Shelby loves the spot light, she loves to do good in the spotlight. She's a talented singer, and actually has a really good voice. She enjoys being on stage, or in front of people. Singing is the second most important thing to her.
Shelby is really into helping out her family. She sometimes can get really annoying with it too, she wants to know everything about all of them, she sends them all at least one letter a week. If someone in her family needs an ear, she is the perfect one to go to. Although the girl loves to gossip, she never gossips about her family. She thinks they are much too important. When it comes to her friends she is just as loyal in listening to them speak, even though she loves to gossip, she doesn't like to gossip about her close friends. She doesn't want them to be in any part talked about poorly.
Shelby knows how to flirt, but she does so in a sweet way. Sometimes her flirting is more about her hiding what she is actually thinking. Shelby is a very creative girl, she loves to write songs and music. As she is a singer, she's got an amazing voice (or at least that is what her parents tell her), and she loves the spotlight. But more to the point she loves touching people with her music. When you look at Shelby you don't expect her to have the type of voice that she does. She's got a very folk-rock voice. She's about music that makes you think, makes you feel.
Shelby writes songs just about everyday, or she at least works on them everyday. She's always off in her own world when she is working on a new song. She's been teased for getting lost in the clouds before. Sometimes she doesn't even pay attention in class. It isn't that she means to drift off into thought it is just that she does. She gets too lost in every piece of creating a new song. Every note, every word has to be perfect. |

Brandon and Andi Capper wanted a big family, and they both knew it. Andi Capper (Nee Jones) came from a very large family with 7 brothers and sisters, while Brandon was an only child, but always dreamed of a big family. Brandon and Andi meet by running into each other at a small coffee house a year before their eldest son was born. The two just sparked, started to date right away. Brandon asked Andi to marry him 10 days after meeting her, and to his surprise (and both of there families) she said yes and they were married a month later. Before they knew it Andi was growing bigger with Sandy, theeldest son. Sandy was born in the middle of summer, two weeks late, and the family started on having kids. A year latter came Jacob and Edward, twins. Twins ran on both sides of the family, as Brandon's dad was a twin and Andi herself was a twin. The two identical twins were a very big handful, but the family has happy with the three little kids.
Andi wasn't exactly planning on having a fourth child right away, but she ended up having Shelby just over a year later. Shelby was the first girl the couple had, and Andi couldn't be happier, all those
boys were a handful, to have a girl, it was just really exciting. Shelby was a very demanding child though, she liked attention from the start, and she wouldn't settle for anything but the best. She loved banging pots and pans together while giggling like a little crazy kid. The only thing that would calm her down was Bob Dylan or Jimmy Hendrix.
Brandon worked as a music producer for a label in London, while Andi stayed home with the kids. Two short years later Samantha was born, and a year after that the families second set of twins Jessica and
Elizabeth. Identical twins again. Andi and Brandon planned on stopping after the last set of twins, but three years later the last son Justin was born. Shelby got to name him, she was surprised when her parents, who had basically been too busy to even talk to the little 6 year old asked her to name him. She snapped Justin as them and walked away.
When Shelby turned 8 she started demanding singing lessons, her father had a contact, and got her lessons for a good price with one of the best vocal coaches in London. From that moment on it was clear that Shelby loved music. She picked up a guitar around 9 and spent hours locked in her room. She just couldn't help it, music was everything to her. Plus it was the only way to escape all of the noise of her family. Shelby bonded with her older brother Jacob, but she never did get along with Eddie. She just didn't get why he was always so mean to her. Jacob and Shelby used to hide up in Shelby's room playing music for hours when they were 10. Of course they also were forced to do their homework from Primary school. The kids attended a very nice primary school in Chelsea, even though they lived in Belsize Park. Shelby's mother was a trust fund baby, and although she came from a big family, she came from a very wealthy family, and Brandon made a good amount of money too. The family was comfortable, but nothing over the top.
The entire family was surprised on Shelby's eleventh birthday when a representative from Hogwarts showed up with a letter stating that Shelby Capper was indeed a witch. Shelby didn't believe it, she didn't realize that when she was younger she levitated pans and sent them flying at her parents when she was mad at them. She was too young when that happened. But now, she was being told to go to Hogwarts.
She talked to her father, and to her brother Jacob about it, and they finally decided to let her go. Shelby was extremely nervous, she thought she'd be sent off to a boarding school like her oldest brother was when she was 13, not 11. Yet, that's what happened, she did her school shopping with her father and Jacob, even though she was extremely nervous, and boarded the Hogwarts express.
Shelby was sorted into Hufflepuff pretty quickly. Part of her wasn't sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing. So many students seemed to think Hufflepuff was a weak house and she couldn't undersand why. How was being loyal and kind a week thing? Shelby always figured being loyal took real strength.
Shelby's first few years at school went pretty easily, with the world the way that it was she didn't tell her parents about it at all. She told her Jacob (her brother) what was really going on but made him promise not to tell anyone. Shelby had problems during her second year when the world just seemed really torn up with the death of Cedric. She hadn't known him very well, but he was in her house, and
it just seemed unreal. She couldn't tell her parents about it, they'd never let her go back to school.
The next years passed in a blur almost Shelby did everything she could to stay out of the way. She didn't want to be involved in any of the madness. She stuck to her friends, and didn't go outside of her group as much as she would have liked to. She still flirted, she was still herself, she just wasn't sure about branching out too much. Shelby wrote more songs during her 3rd to 5th year than any other time.

She's got the same strong bone structure, and long flowing blond hair. Shelby likes to keep her hair long, it makes her feel more comfortable, she cut it short once when she was 13 and hated it, and has had long hair since then. She's got a very tones body, as she spent nearly every summer at the beaches in Italy. She's got a scar above her belly button from when she got it pierced and it got an affection so she had to pull it out. She's got a flat stomach from working out every day, and is on a diet to make sure she doesn't gain any weight. Shelby is very self aware of her weight, and body. She's got good skin, tan, and always dresses with the trends. Shelby would love to be a trend setter as well, but for the moment she just likes to look nice and sexy. Shelby enjoys looking sexy, but doesn't over do it, sometimes she does, but she tries not to. She loves summer dresses, and the really big warm sweaters in the winter. She's got a thing for belts too, Shelby probably has about 100 belts. She doesn't care about shoes, but she does have a good number of them. |

Family Relationship: Shelby is really close to her family, even though she is the only witch out of eight kids she is still close to them all. She loves her family to pieces. She's closer to her father than she is her mother. Mostly because of music. Shelby loves music, music is everything to her, as it is for her father. She does get along with her mother, she just isn't close. Shelby never caused
problems for them, so the relationship is pretty easy.
When it comes to her brothers, she gets along with Sandy but doesn't talk to him too much, sure she sends him a letter at least once every two weeks, normally once a week, the two just never became close. Jacob is the sibling she's closest too, she's extremely close to him, but isn't at all close to Eddie (Edward). She still would do anything for Eddie, but the two just never got along. Her relationship with Jacob is very goof though, she tells him just about everything and views him as one of her best friends in the world. He was the most supportive when Shelby went off to Hogwarts. He also was the only one who didn't treat her any different over summer holiday. Her youngest brother, Justin, is a totally adorable kid. Shelby adores him to pieces, she got to name him, and she takes a lot of interest in his life. She writes to him more than anyone else, and always wants to know what is going on in his life.
For her sisters, Shelby isn't really close to any of them. They are all younger, and all sort of looked at her strangely for being a witch. She's probably closest to Jessica, Jessica is the one who she
hoped would be a witch along with her, but no, none of her siblings joined her. Jessica is the smartest of her younger siblings, which is part of the reason Shelby and Jessica get along so well. She does
however love Samantha and Elizabeth, they just don't bother understanding Shelby.
