"I don't divulge my sources, Fury, same as you wouldn't divulge yours. Besides, it doesn't matter. I just saved the American government a lot of taxpayer money by dealing with the organized crime problem it has." Burke says, rolling his neck.
"The real issue is that the Mafia's becoming a bigger issue these days. There's been a shake up in the Underworld and I'm hearing rumblings that there's a new Kingpin of crime. The Sicilians are scrambling to hold whatever territory they can in Jersey and you've got the I.R.A. funneling weapons to homegrown terrorists on American soil." Burke tells him.
"Rather than rake me over the coals about what I'm doing, maybe you could give me some information to do it better. I'm the best deniable asset you've got, Fury. I can get my hands dirty where you can't risk your agents. If they screw up, it puts SHIELD in the hot seat. If I screw-up, I'm dead. At the worst, it keeps their attention on me and lets the costumes focus on beating each other senseless and causing millions in property damage." Burke finishes.
