"Who's Joey?" Braddock asks, raising a brow. "Don't tell me you went and replaced me with a new admirer, Logan. I might not recover from the hole you're leaving in my heart." he says, full of mock-drama, clutching at his heart in Shakespearean fashion.
"Besides, Jesse can go without you one night, can't he? Unless he's the clingy type. And he has to learn to handle a little competition, Rose. I mean, if he's always got access to you, he won't appreciate you quite as much." Braddock says.
Yes, it makes perfect sense to him.
