Abilities: Size change (develops wings at "tiny size" ala Wasp), genius-level intellect, and the ability to disrupt solid matter so as to allow herself to move through it (she calls this "membraneification" and describes it like turning everything into a sieve that she passes through.)
Weaknesses and flaws: She has normal human frailties. Also, just because she can pass through solid state matter doesn't mean she can get through everything unscathed---the denser the matter, the harder it is and the higher the likelihood she might get hurt doing it. Has a shopping addiction.
Character location/Home: Avengers Mansion, New York City

Relatives (living/dead?): Janet Van Dyne (mother), Hank Pym (father), Chris Pym (other dimensional half sister) and Vernique (other dimensonal half sister)
Backstory: In another universe, Marie Claire, or MC as she's called by her bff Stevie Barton, is the fabulous only child of Hank and Jan Pym. She has an awesome life: dating Michael Rogers, aka Captain America, being an Avenger, having fabulous taste, getting her geek on in the lab while looking amazing doing it. Then it all goes sideways. Stevie up and vanishes. And this won't do so, after lots of thinking and research and inventing, she figures out that Stevie's disappeared into another dimension. It's happened before and sometimes people come back...and she's damn determiend to make sure Stevie comes back so she comes up with a device to help her hunt down her bff and save the day because damnit there's shopping to do!
How do you plan to introduce the character to the game?: She's gonna show up on Fifth Avenue looking for Stevie. And maybe doing some shopping.
What are you planning to do with this character? Cross dimensional mayhem, a potential "Quantum Leap" type plot.
What do you want to see happen with this character?: I want to see her go through an actual challenge and hardship. Sure she's an Avenger...but she's also had a very charmed life. It will be nice to see her figure it out for herself.

Michael didn't get it. Stevie just barely got it. Dad had no damn clue, and Mom....well. Mom was an Enabler. At least when it came to shoes. Shoes were a sacred thing and girl could NEVER have enough. This was why the second Marie Claire got a text on her phone letting her know that the new season's shoes had just arrived at Barney's it didn't matter that she was supposed to be going to a movie with Michael. It didn't matter that he was Captain America. It didn't matter that it there were Things To Do and this might be the only chance she and Michael got to spend time together on a non professional level. She dropped everything, hailed a cab and in a very dramatic fashion cried out "get me to Barney's!" THERE WERE SHOES TO BE HAD, PEOPLE!
If she was going to save the world she had to look fabulous, right? It was, after all, the Van Dyne way.
