Meeting for the first time....Again (AU)
She had gotten out of Gotham before she had ever met Robin. She never crossed paths with him. She wasn't sure why she had come back to Gotham. It wasn't always a very charming city but it had never distressed her. She also knew that this city had everything she might be interested in.

That was why she had come back here. She is having way too much fun going after a very lovely piece of jewelry that is on display at the museum. It is when she gets out without tripping security she thinks she has been spotted.

So of course she runs away.

Being attached to the Wayne name, even if it wasn't part of his, meant a lot of parties. He had a hard time keeping track of them all really.

He's dressed as one would expect from part of the Wayne family. Classy designer suit that clearly cost more than some people's entire wardrobes, and add in the charming smile he needs to have plastered on at these things. But at least this party wasn't business, so he could loosen up a bit.

Which means that his attention was free to be caught by the stunning blonde not too far from him. With very nice legs it seems. He picks up a glass of the night's champagne on circuit for both of them and makes his way over. "Are you in town long?" Thomas offers her the extra glass with a smile.

	"I do not know yet," she supplies with a soft smile. She has a very soft accent that hints that French is her first language. It isn't overly dramatic or pronounced so obviously she knows English very well. She could possibly be a model, she has the right build. "Let me guess, a Gotham native?" The accent is noted with a smile, he thinks it fits her well. Just like the dress. Something tells him she's not a model though, just by the way she carries herself. Models, he has experience with. They were often at the parties to 'pretty things up' as it was put and while there were a lot of different ones, he could spot them as a model from across the room. Yes, this woman certainly wasn't one though, even if she could make a killing at it.

"Enough to know I haven't seen you around before," he responds with a wry smile and holds out his hand. "Thomas. Thomas Kyle."

His are much the same, certain people would notice he clearly does more with his hands than expected from just a rich guy. So it's interesting to him to note hers are similar. "Pleasure is mine Sarah," he smiles and shakes her hand, letting it linger before pulling away.

"So what brings you here? I hear our tourism reviews are getting better." Which wasn't false really. The return of a Batman to the streets had certainly helped crime rate fall again. The city wasn't clean quite yet but there was improvement from a few years ago.

"Would you believe I used to live in Gotham?" She smiles warmly at Thomas. He isn't an enemy of hers. He isn't with any of the Families. She doesn't see capes as the bad guys and she doesn't imagine a Bat being here.

"I had to finish cutting a few former business ties. They thought they could talk me into helping them out... I merely wished to make myself clear."

That had been what she had done between Batman baiting.

"It wouldn't surprise me," he admitted. "We have lots of people come through." Her warm smile gets one in return. It was nice after nights of being serious and fighting criminals to smile once in a while and relax. Something that wasn't hard to do when talking to beautiful woman.

"I understand entirely, trust me. You have to be clear from the get go otherwise they can get quite annoying." He does step closer and lower his voice a little now, because there were probably some of those business people who he was thinking of around tonight.

	"It was a good place for me to learn a little bit about being an adult," she allowed in an almost fond tone. Gotham is charming in a way. It also taught her to be careful. 	"It has a way of doing that," he nods with a fond smile. Gotham certainly made him grow up fast but it was his home and he loved the place regardless of what people said. That has him chuckle. 	He's actually a good dancer, a lifetime of attending these things will do that to you, and he's enjoying dancing with her. Most of the women he ends up dancing with are due to obligations of some sort, being polite and all. "Any plans while you're still in town Sarah?" Always easier to talk on the dance floor. 	There's a slow smile now. "I could recommend a few. Nobody can say Gotham doesn't have quality selection." He was on the boards for a few of the museums, because the Wayne Foundation had a branch that donated to cultural programs, museums and art galleries.
