Bendy time/Positive reinforcement
A certain fox has the night off. This meant she needed to do something fun. What better than to enjoy a night out under one of her aliases while having fun? A really fancy dress that would make a grown man whimper because it looked damn good on her, with darker hair too. She made sure that it made her look dramatically different to fit the alias just right.

It helped the Sophia, her persona tonight, was known in the right circles as a lover of the arts. It made sense that she was at a very high end art show at one of Gotham's museums.

No one questioned her presence and she was getting away with her natural eye color tonight. She was also having fun listening to a prominent artist talk about one of the more odd looking sculptures on display tonight. She was going to be really happy once she got home.

	He leans against his door, looking bored from their followers' position, and keeps track of the people in the other car and their movements. After a few blocks and some turns they were still on their tail and looking like they were going to start their plan soon. "Don't react but it looks like they'll make their move soon." 	"Of course they are," she mutters bitterly. She had been looking forward to having fun. She does though make sure to change their route just enough to make it look like she wasn't sure where she was going. For the sake of the people following them. 	Now he doesn't need to be subtle about looking behind them. The car is right on their heels. One of the men opens the window and pulls out his gun to take a shot. "Give me the wheel and get down!" He slides in from the passenger's seat into the driver's just as she gets out. They've timed this well and the car stays in control during it.

Now pedal to the metal. He floors it and the tires screech as they zoom forward, weaving through traffic at break-neck speeds. The way the car swerves so close to others might have someone panic, but Thomas has done this before. Granted, as nice as this car was it was no Batmobile but it'd do just fine.

	The sad thing is? She gets stuck now. This dress isn't maneuverable in the skirt area and his driving had made her slide around. But at least she was safe! The gun men wouldn't easily see her. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

He can only see her from the corner of his eye occasionally but...was she...stuck?

"Sarah...did you get yourself stuck?" He's smirking not laughing now, he'll laugh later, right now he needs to concentrate on getting them away in one piece.

The engine protests as he doesn't ease off the gas at all and keeps them almost at top speed as much as he can. But the streets are narrower and more crowded here so he'll need to slow down and get out soon. Maybe hit the highway and lose them near an exit, before winding his way through the emptier streets and get to one of the abandoned garages they have around.

	"Yes. This dress wasn't made to move around in. No slips in the skirt," she says calmly. "It's pretty but not very functional." He might hear her wiggle the 'oof' as air gets knocked out of her. Now he outright laughs. It's so gleeful that it's clear he's not only laughing at her getting stuck, but relishing in this. He hasn't had a good car chase in a while.

"Hold on tight and stick as far to the left side of the car as you can. We'll need all weight on this side," he instructs then grins as he violently spins the wheel left and they go careening off into a narrow alley, the whole car tipping to the left to get them to fit as they zoom through.

"He has a very thorough stunt driving course!" He shouts over all the noise, devilish smirk still stuck on his face. It's clear though who the he is.

	"Oh my god my poor car!" She does as he says. She also has to make sure her disguise stays on firmly. And Thomas? Will get cursed at extensively in French. There may be some gleeful cackling within all that noise. "It'll survive!" He shouts back at her in French.

They speed through a few alleys, barely each time though, and put more distance between them and their pursuers. There's a highway entrance not far but he sees a spot where the railing is missing (probably from some car crash he thinks) farther along and past the entrance. It's not too high over the highway either...

"Hold on tight!"

Perhaps he is. Thomas just grins madly and zooms towards the gap with their pursuers coming right behind.

The car flies off the edge and they feel wieghtless for a brief moment before there's a violent thud that shakes the whole car as they hit the highway (thankfully quite empty) below at full speed.

The pursuers only realize at the last moment what he's doing and miss their chance of jumping off too. In their shock over the stunt he pulls they crash into the railing farther along.

"Got them!"

	"Do you know the safe house with the...." She is switching back to English slowly. Her voice really does have a heavy French accent when she's stressed. It says more about her, really. He hasn't wiped the smile off his face just yet. And he likes the French accent on her. It tells him more about her, and that's always nice.

"Yes, that one had some of your better security," he compliments. "There's a old warehouse not too far from there, let me park and we'll go."

"But first..." He leans over and kisses the somewhat disheveled and startled fox then smirks. "You're welcome."
