Under cover and in trouble
She had been 'under cover' on assignment to get information. It was a little more than awful pretending to be interested in a man almost three decades older than her.

He was a criminal and a dirty old man. It was easy to let him flirt. She flirted back and really didn't mean it. She really hated how far she felt like she had to go for this job. She felt like she was going to just quit. Leave and tell the Boss to fuck himself.

And then she had to smile and giggle then acted as if nothing was wrong when she felt a hand wandering past her hip. It dawned on her by the look on his new assistant's face that she wasn't alone and someone she knew wasn't happy about this either.

Maybe he'd be able to help her so she'd have to put up with less.

He's tempted to point out that saying that is almost a proposition but refrains from doing so.

Smiling, he untangles her leg from him and steals another kiss. "True, and you already got an appetizer today that's enough for you," he jokes.

But really he thinks that after being stuck with that pervert for a week, she needed a break and this wouldn't be a good idea. He wasn't even quite sure if he'd follow through one day yet.
