ICP 09. Sometimes solutions aren't so simple...

There are not many very good or very bad people, but the great majority are something between the two.

Staying another week or two. Again, call my phone if you need to reach me. Or comment here if you can't be bothered to find the number.

If you must know, I cleared the absences with my professors before I even went on the trip. And informed them of my extended stay. An arrangement to make up for it has already been agreed upon.

I'm not that impulsive.

with what valid excuse, i wonder. check any university's attendance policy. you're smart enough—i'm sure you know where i'm getting at.

What part of 'an arrangement to make up for my absences has already been agreed upon' don't you understand? If I'm smart enough to know where you're going, as you implied, then I'm smart enough to have a working game plan set in place before taking my leave. I'm well aware of what the policies are and have taken careful measures to ensure that my grades are not effected.

If you wish to call me dumb and foolish for my actions, why not just come out with it instead of talking in cryptic circles. It's not like you to mask the point when an easier conclusion can be stated.

tl;dr but with the length of your response you're being defensive.

i was getting to the point that it's probably in your best interest to come back to school instead of throwing hissy fits, but guess you can't have them all.

Did you expect me not to be when you see it fit to pass judgment on the situation without even knowing what's going on? And then imply that I haven't given any considerations to my actions? I know you have a poor opinion on women in general, but I figured you would've known me to be smarter than that.

...In any case, thank you for your concern but I have things under control.

i'm not concerned. you're just making a fool of the school attendance policy with your irrationality.

i don't know you well enough to be a judge of your intelligence. but your actions so far are speaking far more on your part than whatever you're trying to say. and before you jump to conclusions again, that's not a compliment or a bait.

I wasn't aware you were capable of giving either since it would take far too much energy that you would most likely not prefer to exhaust.

And before you jump to conclusions yourself, again, maybe you should gather all of the facts first.

what, for some emotional scuffle?

shit happens, deal with it. everyone else has been doing it since the beginning of time. right now, you're just wasting time and resources.

Compliments and baiting, Nara. No one's talking about emotional anything.

And I am dealing with it, thank you. As I said before, I have all of my schooling issues thought out and taken care of -- a point that you seem intent on ignoring every time I bring it up -- so I hardly think I'm wasting time or resources to handle a personal matter that probably has nothing to do with what you think it is.

I doubt a family emergency can be called a trivial matter. ...But fine. Assume what you will. I don't have to defend myself, least of all to you. And nothing I say will ever change what you think. I don't even know why I try with you.

(Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

my guess is she's icly lying to him? because this contradicts her previous post;;;

and be as defensive as you want. it's cool.

(Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Not necessarily, just not telling him the whole truth. But contradicts how?
