But taxis cost a lot of money! And what if you had a friend who lived right next to you and you know wouldn't mind giving you a ride. Would you still call a taxi?

My car wont break down anyway. It gets regular check ups to insure that it doesn't.

Yeah but okay, let's say the mechanics mess it up or something and the taxi can't get you to work on time. Would you still not ask your friend for the favor?

Well I guess that makes sense, but it seems that you try to avoid those situations like, to the extreme. Do you just not like asking for help?
