I'm taking a much needed extended vacation. I may, or may not return with gifts.

Feel free to torture the temps while I'm gone.

Text if you need something.

How many have you made? And do you sell them or is it just for your own personal pleasure?

Full bodied dolls or parts? I do sell them, though certain ones I keep. It depends on the doll.

Both~ Seems like an interesting hobby.

And oh? How many do you keep for yourself then?

Depending on how much time per day I have, 3-5 weeks for a full body carved, painted and assembled.

I currently have 9 complete ones at home.

3-5 weeks? And you make these all the time? I have to say I'm impressed. I don't think I'd have the patience to put much detail in this sort of thing.

And nine? Didn't peg you as a doll collector~

I am an artist. [as if that explains everything]

I don't collect dolls. That would imply that I purchase other people's work.

Huh, I get it then. [it totally doesn't]

You mean you don't? You just keep your things only? What if someone makes one that you really like?

It depends on the artist and the style. There aren't many peopleartists I allow into my home.

So you have bought dolls from other people before then? And why not allow other artists into your home? Wouldn't it be great to have a creative sort of atmosphere going?

That is rather difficult to explain. An artist put themselves in their work. So having their work in your home is like having a part of them in your home.

So... it's like having different sorts of fashion collections in your home that sort of match but don't really? Even if they're cute something is still a bit off about them maybe?

That makes a bit of sense, I suppose. And you like your space right?

I do. Very much.

That's pretty odd if you ask me, considering you seem to know the ins and outs of everything around here.

What's that got to do with me liking my space?

It should be quid pro quo or whatever that phrase is. You learn about people and they learn about you, that sort of thing. Even if that learning is as simple as going into your house.

Not really.

Is your house really spooky then? Would people be scared to go in? Is it surrounded by an electric fence?

No. I have an exceptionally pleasant house. I'm uncertain what my neighbors think of it, though I never get random knocks on my door and christmas carolers don't come by.

Is it because you've tased a caroler before?

My taser stays at work. I don't need it at home.

That's weird then. I wonder why they wouldn't knock on your door, but I'd count it as a blessing. At least you don't have all those crazy religious fanatics hounding you.

How long have you been there? I mean, I would think it'd be easy to remember having to pull a gun on someone.

Unless you did and don't want to own up to it~
