Tom Felton: Link to PB. Draco Malfoy is a pale blonde with pointy features. As he grows older, his features take on more of a feminine looking leading more towards pretty than handsome. While this seems to garner him some positive attention in the looks department, it is something that he personally dislikes. He has always wanted to be more like his father, however, his looks stem closer to his mother's side of the family. He is always dressed to the nines and would never be caught dead in something that didn't cost an arm and leg to buy. He is always impeccably polished, even on his worst days. If there is one thing this male hates, it’s having his haired mussed.
Icy grey eyes give him the perfect aura of a heartless bastard, a little misconception that he enjoys to the fullest. He has never marked his body with unsightly piercings or tattoos, mainly because he has never found one that he is willing to accept for the rest of his life. He claims that such things are beneath him. Recently, after someone speculating that he looked a bit too much like a woman, he has started to grow facial hair. It isn’t overly noticeable and seems to be a contradiction to his previous style, always having been clean kept and pristine. For a male his age, Draco ranges a bit on the short side, only measuring up to a total five foot nine compared to many of his acquaintances. Personality.
The first impression of Draco Malfoy is that he is a spoiled, rich bastard. In truth, he is. He will always look out for his own safety and well-being before anyone else. This may include abandoning people, selling people out, bribery, and any manner of unsavory deeds. He is cold, callous, and sarcastic. Beyond his outer shell of calculated malice is something softer, but hardly ever seen. He would do almost anything for the joy and protection of his family or chocolate. He loves chocolate.
Draco is very fond of his true friends and will often go to extreme depths to make sure that they are well taken care of and happy, even if it may not seem it. Most times, Draco loves to be the center of attention. He feels as if there is nothing better than having every room in the eye upon him. There are times though, when the daunting task of his public image forced him to seek solitude. It is times like these where he will burying himself fin his studies or over a particularly complex potion. He tends to blame things that go wrong on other people in his life due to the fact that it is easier for him to accept and keep his public image. Instead of taking blame for things that he personally incited, he is more apt to take blame over something that he had no control over.
In public, Draco relies on his sarcasm and cold wit to keep him safe from any attempts to defame his character. While in private and among his few trusted friends, he may open up a bit more, he is still a very secretive person. He does not like people having power over him and the essence of letting someone past his shell is absolutely terrifying. Through-out his school years, Draco was always in control, however, now that he is out in the big wide world, he feels a little bit like a fish out of water. There is no Potter to compete with, no tests to study for, and the confusion over what precisely he’d like to do with his life leaves him aggravated.
Slytherin Gemini Ever heard the phrase "snake-tongued?" It must have been invented to describe a Slytherin Gemini. (This doesn't refer to the Parseltongue gift, either, although the few Slytherin wizards who exhibited it have had a disproportionate number of Geminis in their midst.) Slytherin Geminis have the dubious gift of being able to lay the blarney on thick, and be believed. This is due to both their imaginative mental agility and to their skill with words. Of course, not all Slytherin Geminis are liars - but it is probably advisable to get all sides of the story if you hear interesting gossip from one of these wizards. Slytherins born under the sign of Gemini are also naturally skilled at any magical work which involves sleight of hand or incantations. They are less determined and aggressive than the average Slytherin, though, save perhaps in a field that involves debate. You will find far more of them chatting in the common room or looking up arcane lore in the library than on the Quidditch field or in a dueling match, with the exception of Quidditch Seekers: the sharp eyesight and quick reflexes associated with Gemini are good traits for a Seeker to have.
LIKES: Chocolate, Getting his way, Reading, Taking advantage of people, and ruling his own dominion. DISLIKES: Potter and everything associated with Potter (At least to the public), Being told No, Being called a Queen, Things that do not match HABITS: He chews his lower lip when he is reading or thinking over something important, he spends more time in the bathroom in the morning than Pansy, He always drinks one cup of coffee before he will face the public. VICES: Spoiled. Often leans on the ideals he was taught as a child rather than voicing his own opinion. Recently picked up smoking to strength his bad boy image. History.
Draco Lucius Malfoy was born like many pureblood children, with a silver spoon in his mouth. He was spoiled right out of the womb to believe that he was the best and no one else would ever compare to him. His parents loved him deeply and spoiled him absolutely rotten, but they still instilled in him the responsibility he held. The Malfoy name was one that he was forced to lived up to, the expectations in his life high. He knew from a very young age that he was going to be something great and the world would be forced to sit up and take notice of the young Malfoy heir. He started young, attempting to rule over the other pureblood children that would come to attend dinners or parties within the great manor and he learned quickly that veiled threats and confidence would get him far in life.
The first time he sat under the Sorting Hat, he’d had a split moment of fear. What if he wasn’t placed in Slytherin? What if he disappointed his family by being placed in a less reputable house? His fears were unfounded as the hat barely sat upon his crown before yelling out Slytherin. A smirk plastered upon his face and hadn’t seemed to leave it since. Once he was in the Slytherin house, it wasn’t long before he was asserting his rightful place and through the years he quickly gained the title Slytherin Prince. Even among his ‘trusted’ peers, he kept up a mask of confidence and detachment. He ruled his underlings with a steel fist, making sure that no one stepped out of line within his court.
This may have been one of the main reasons that such a ‘war’ between the Slytherins and Gryffindors lasted as he took a personal insult to the very existence of Potter. They were opposites in nearly every way, the light and the dark, the good and the evil. Not to say that Draco was evil, but he certainly had a sadistic streak. He made it his own personal feat to beat Potter and his friends in anything they accomplished, something he found hard to do with a certain Know-it-all. He placed for the Slytherin Quidditch team as a Seeker just so that he could compete with them. Everything he did seemed to be geared towards showing the world that he was better than everyone else.
There are few that he trusts to let his mask slide and there is only one person who has seen him at his worst. He began dating Pansy Parkinson in fourth year, not because he was particularly attracted to her, but because it seemed to be the best move to exert his power over the rest of the school body. Together, they were unstoppable. She had seen past his façade of confidence and ambition to see the narcissistic brat he really was. For that he loved her, but not in a way he though appropriate. She would have made a fine wife, one that was proper for him, but he had difficulties seeing past his own hate and anger, leaving his passions focused more on the Gryffindors than that of his lovely girlfriend. When Seventh year had arrived and he had the pressure of school and his parents bearing down on him to make sure that he excelled, it seemed the perfect excuse to break things off. It wasn’t that he wanted to hurt the girl, but he knew that if things continued he would not only lose his girlfriend, but his best friend. To him, an ally was much better than a tattered relationship and everyone knew that you didn’t cross Pansy. They drifted from there, Draco leaning more towards Blaise as a confidant as he didn’t trust anyone else. Once school had ended, Draco was at a loss of what to do with his life. He had excelled wonderfully at his NEWTs, scoring nearly perfect scores in everything. He has been privately furthering his education during his time in the Manor, looking for a path he desired to take. His father often tells him that he should pursue politics, but it his mother he listens to. He searching for something that will fill the gap he currently has, and lately, he’s been leaning towards Healing, even if his father thinks it’s beneath the Malfoy name. SECRETS
Everyone has a secret. What is your characters secret?
Draco has only ever slept with one woman, Pansy Parkinson, however, he has slept with nearly a handful of men. He hides this the best that he can mostly by making sure that those he 'partakes' with either suffer the same loss he does by his secret coming out or they are not in England. It is one thing that he would not want to come out for fear that it would tear his family apart.
He also sings in the shower. |
