Backstory: The Bride's origins are unknown to her, but her accent points to an Eastern European origin, possibly Translyvanian or Romanian. This is accurate.
The majority of the personality that comprises the Bride, as well as her face and heart, come from a young woman named Igna, who grew up in the village of Frankenstein sometime in the mid-nineteenth century. By all accounts, hers was a simple, but happy life, until she was brutally murdered and dismembered under mysterious circumstances.. She was buried and mourned.
And then, a few nights later, she was dug up by Baron von Frankenstein, a great-nephew of the infamous Victor von Frankenstein, stitched together with pieces from other young female corpses, and brought to life in the same fashion as the famous Monster once was. What Frankenstein had not counted on, however, was that each of the girls dug up and used for parts... had all been murdered by the same man. And together, their memories and personalities mixed enough to know who had killed them... and to want revenge.
She was quick to extract vengeance, but this took the appearance of a monster murdering an innocent. The usual torches and pitchforks followed and the risen woman fled.
What happened in the intervening years is not entirely known, but the women-creature did have encounters with the true Monster of Frankenstein, Dracula, and members of the Russel clan during the intervening century. She nominally tried to hide her existence, but could often be found in situations where women were being preyed upon, including a memorable encounter that ended with the death of a serial killer on the streets of London during the later part of the nineteenth century. She became rather good at killing other monsters, traveling to where there was death and putting them down, often fleeing shrotly thereafter as a monster herself.
At some point, she journeyed to America, where a certain horror film left her stuck with the label of the Bride of Frankenstein, to the point where the Bride became a nominal enough name, though she had not seen Adam in a great many years.
At some point prior to the second World War, the Bride was bested by a monster hunter who had mistaken her his target and damaged and, believed dead, buried in a simple graveyard. But that which is already dead... does not die easily.
All it would take is one bolt of lightning to wake her up...
How do you plan to introduce the character to the game?: waking up into the middle of whatever plot gets our supernatural gang together
What are you planning to do with this character?: I might play around some with the multiple memories angel, and well, there's always Frankenstein descendents out there...
What do you want to see happen with this character?: Typical Frankensteinian monster tropes, of course.
