Summer Time!

Hello fellow journalers!

It's that time of the year again, we're offering up 10 Permanent Accounts for $100 each. You can view this page for more information on what you can get from a permanent account. All proceeds will go into the server payments and hardware.

In the coming weeks we're looking to do a code upgrade which will bring us to newer, more secure, and hopefully a quicker code-base. We expecting things to break so give us a couple days to iron things out and get things back to normal should things go funky.

Other than that we don't have much else. We hope everyone is enjoying their summer (USA). It's roasting hot down here in TX but decent back home in VT. Wherever you are we hope you're staying safe and having fun!

Hi hi Morgan and Jimmy :D Loyal Scribbld user here and I've got a bunch of people in our big ol' long running comm that would love to help out with the site :D

We were wondering, since the rename tokens aren't working and that was why you guys stopped selling those awesome $4 EA accounts, if there would be a chance that usernames could go back into business? Again we were just wondering, because I know we've all purchased more than a handful of those journals and would continue to do so :D

I bet I can code a little thing into the listing page which just shows what account type it is next to it, however for the meantime just use the above method. i'll see about coding it in tonight.

Hello! I'm just curious about the status of the website? How are things going financially and are you guys still motivated to keep things running around here? I'm just curious because I don't want this place to go the way of GreatestJournal or Inksome, since I love it here and I update my scribbld account quite frequently. I'm sure everyone would like to see a news post or something :)

I suppose this is better late than never. Financially there is almost zero income from this website, and very little motivation. LiveJournal code is very hard to upkeep and customize and keep customizations when upgrading the code-base. Simply put it's a real pain in the ass, especially since the company continues to change hands and everything gets lots or to many things change. That being said, I think we'd like to keep things going and attempt to get a newer codebase working, it just takes a lot of time, usually time neither of us have to invest.

I will definitely try to get a news posting up as soon as possible :)
