Daisy Dodderidge, Moses's however-many-greats grandmother, built and was the first land-lady of the Leaky Cauldron. And the family's been taking care of it since. Moses and his siblings were raised in the Leaky Cauldron. Their parents, though well-off, tried their best to keep their children's heads on straight, and to not get sucked into the party life of the young socialites they could be. The Dodderidge clan helped around the inn, working as waiters and waitresses, maids, busboys, whatever was needed, and it created quite the work ethic for the four. However, each child was different, and all four ended up in separate Houses at Hogwarts, which was evident from their drastic differences in personality. While they were all hard-workers, it seemed that their reasons for it varied. written by Cristina, who plays Miranda Moses has always been very dedicated to whatever he puts himself into, but he expects something out of it. He's overly ambitious and has a strong desire to achieve great things in the future. His plans for his life are limited only by his eventual death. Some may wonder if he had any trouble fitting in with his Slytherin peers, simply because of his "unusual" upbringing based on their social standing, but the only ones that were uncomfortable in the house were the others; Moses didn't let any of the petty things that may have come up in the common room get to him. And now that he's out on his own, Moses would say that he's doing pretty damn good with getting his career where he wants it. Maybe someday he'll take over the family business, but for now he's diving head first into curse breaking and loving it. Likes: Dislikes: Alignment: neutral
i guess it's in a time like this the winds will blow the other way Slytherin Saggitarius: Yes, Virginia, Sagittarians can get sorted into House Slytherin. And not always as Quidditch players, either, although there have been jokes made about how the Hat will sort big, tall Sags into Slytherin just to pad out the team. Slytherin Sagittarians are sorted primarily because of their ability to dream; these Sags have a vision, and with the support of their House, can channel their energies to great achievements. In return they give their House something priceless beyond rubies: a sense of perspective. Temporary failure is not humiliating to the Sagittarius Slytherin, merely a temporary setback in pursuit of a goal. They can laugh at themselves even when other people are laughing at them, and of course that turns the joke on the idiots who came up with it in the first place. (How devious.) Although bright, these Slytherins will coast through their classes if they can get away with it; they'd rather envision the future than attend to the details of the present.
