Peter! All you've got to do is laugh at her jokes and like...talk! Just talk about things that you know about! If she likes animals you could talk about this research project OH I HAVE A GOOD TOPIC FOR YOU

You could talk about this 'research project' you did in school about animagi for extra credit in Transfiguration and then be like "What animal do you think you'd be?" AND SO ON AND SO ON

You make a good point.

BUT IT'S NOT THAT EASY! Maybe it is for you, but for me? It's very, very difficult.

I'm going to wind up laughing at the wrong things, and talking too loud, or I'll spill something, and she'll probably never want to see me again.

But I already told her I'd go, so I'm going.

You seriously didn't hire her though? Right now I'd rather you did hire her so I didn't feel so bad about not wanting to go to make an idiot out of myself.
