[ORDER]

So, now that we know the Ministry officially sucks ass, Dumbledore's starting his cunning and wily ways to get around this bullshit. Firstly with Hogwarts.

All of you Order members who have decided not to have a life outside of our secret society are being put to work, and I'm sorry to inform you that it has to deal with snot-nosed teenagers. Ignore that I still am one.

I'm talking about Hogwarts, and its need for extra professors for this new split program. Not that I think we could actually get the title of Professor, but, hey, they made us call Fabian a professor, so...

I'm going to be selfish and snag Transfiguration, and I'm going to assume that my adroitly charmed wife would love to take Charms. Ben's jumped on Muggle Studies, and I am personally saying right now that Remus John Lupin needs to quit his job at that dirty planetarium and teach Defense. Just saying.

I suppose someone has to teach the smart ones! I'll take Ancient Runes and Arithmancy, since there can't be more than like four or five students taking that.

James, you and I can teach ickle firsties how to fly.

Transfiguration is a smart one, thankyouverymuch.

Ehhhhhhhh above fifth year when questions are being asked intelligently, yes.

That and we can make sure Gryffindor doesn't lose the cup this year! Bloody Gudgeon.

Teaching Charms? And getting away from this insanity while I do it? I couldn't ask for a better opportunity.

Welllll as I personally threw my resignation at the minister and nearly got thrown out by security, I'll take the subject that I'm surprisingly proficient at, Potions.

Yeah well. That job was getting boring. I couldn't smoke or do anything fun.

Huh. Well I guess now I can't do that either, not even sit back and tell them to work on their workbooks. Dammit, Dumbledore, now I really do have to mold young childrens' minds.

Sure you could! So long as they get those high O.W.L.s and N.E.W.T.s, of course.

[EDGAR] Need a favor from you, mate. Your sister on the Wizengamot--she has to know at least rumblings of what's going on, what might be coming. Think you could slyly get something out of her? Or, you know, create another ally for the Order or what not. [/EDGAR]

Come O.W.L. and N.E.W.T. time, I plan to have a mysterious illness.

[JAMES] Sounds pretty good, I don't know why I haven't thought about that yet! But only on creating another ally for the Order, not being sly. The first time I tried being sly around Mia was my last. I told Gilly about the Order already, and I think we can definitely trust Mia. [/JAMES]

Yes, making sure that the muggleborn students aren't forced to be taught by ministry placed teachers who will treat them like idiots is a much better way to go.

You don't have to do anything, Dearborn, stop getting your knickers in a twist.

Did it ever occur to you that by putting half the Order at Hogwarts, Death Eaters are going to catch on pretty quick as to what is really going on? Don't be naive enough to think that the Dark Lord doesn't have spies there too, because I'm sure he does.

And not only will they attack the school until they get in, but they'll know exactly who's in the Order because-- oh look, what reputable school hires the obviously dashingly qualified professors that just left two years ago.

You are smart, Potter.

I'm not even going to try and be snippy or sarcastic, because I do understand the points you're coming from. But, the fact remains that everyone who is going to be at Hogwarts (and not even as professors, the main Hogwarts professors are going to give us their lesson sheets and what not) has always been loyal to Dumbledore.

We're not going to be having Order meetings in Hogwarts, the main reason you and Fabian looked for the headquarters is to avoid having eyes on the school. Any sort of work the Order might do would be after school hours, and there are enough of us in the wizarding world now that we will hopefully not be missed during the day.

And maybe having people in Hogwarts is a good thing, if you're so sure Voldemort's got his spies don't call him the Dark Lord you bloody-- Dumbledore, as omnipresent as he might seem to be, can't keep an eye on the kids, especially since we don't have our Baby Order wandering the halls anymore.

If it starts seeming like too much of a risk, we'll back out. But Lily, Ben, Edgar, and myself have been 'jobless' for quite some time (or in Edgar's case, just rather lazy at his), and it is definitely not out of character of Dumbledore to help his friends and former students with a job.

The difference is that I would be their teacher and--- somehow, I think that a muggleborn werewolf is the worst possible combination right now.
