For Seventh Year students, an average schedule would contain six-seven courses. Remember that they only picked up two, possibly three electives in third year. It is therefore highly unlikely they would have anymore than that. It should also be noted that Muggle Studies was a core class until the students' fifth year.

An over-loaded schedule would contain eight courses.

A below-average schedule would contain aproximately five courses.

An insane schedule would contain nine courses (Oh, honestly!).

Because classes have become more specialized by Seventh Year, there will only be one section of each course offered. Once you have submitted your student's classes, the mods will send you a schedule with times, teachers and books required.

Most of the above applies for Sixth Year students. However, we might expect an average schedule contains aproximately seven-eight classes. These classes will be determined based on O.W.L. results from the year prior.

In Fifth Year, students continue on with the core classes but are free to drop up to one elective.

Every Seventh Year Student will also be assigned a time to meet with their Heads of House once a week to discuss progress and any concerns about the upcoming N.E.W.Ts. This meeting will take place between the hours of 4:00 and 6:00 and is mandatory. Students are strongly encouraged to form study groups amongst themselves.
