[Jamie] Where are you currently and how long until we can hang out? that annoying girl is out so you have to be near to getting out too and Psyke and Harper think I have stuff for you. [/Jamie]

I love waffles. They are far far superior to pancakes or other breakfast fluffythings.

As soon as you are back at work, we shall try this!

[Jamie]
Okay, tomorrow then? Nine-thirty.

Sounds like a plan!

[Malcolm]

I'm free tomorrow!

Is Is the mode of transportation the stuff you have for me?

Do I get a hint about what it is?

I will give you twenty questions. It's not food or lame.

That's not fair. I have no idea what you'd consider lame.

Is it bigger than a bread box?

You'll have to find out.

Sometimes it is.

I have to also find out what would drive you mad if you had to guess what it was.

Is it one of those expanding sword things? I don't know what they're called, but I've seen them in stores. You push a button or wave it, and it expands and locks, and when you unlock it somehow, it goes back into itself.

You shall have your own chance, this is my turn.

Nope it is not a telescoping sword.

Wasn't it your turn last time, too?

I

I didn't say it wasn't. Just that I have to think of revenge.

I don't know. I can't think of anything that expands and retracts that isn't the pupil or the penis, and unless it's a dragon's or a giant's or something, I doubt they get that big. Plus, I can't imagine those are things you'd have for me that you'd make me guess.

I am okay with your revenge. I will be ready.

You're right that I wouldn't give you a giant or dragon penis or pupil as a gift. That certainly would be a surprise. You were on the right track with the toys.

Does it expand from inside itself or a central point? That is, does it expand like the sword in one direction or in multiple/all directions?

You were one of those kids who actually waited until Christmas (or whatever holiday your family celebrates) to find out what you got instead of trying to find out before hand, weren't you?

Yes, but I had a ridiculously fun time teasing my brothers that since I was the good one, I knew what their presents were.

Do you then not get antsy over anticipation? Do you just accept it and wait patiently? Because, if not, I'm going to have to find some other way of teasing you.

Depends on what and who. For Christmas, I know I'm getting something and my parents and family know my tastes. But if you have a secret for me, I might get a little antsy. Trust me you are very good at unintentionally teasing anyway

And it wouldn't matter if I did or not if you'd just react in a way that said you'd wait and see. Does this mean your curiosity is low?

I said it depended on what. Christmas and birthday presents I generally wait and see. It really just depends.

I wouldn't say so, but with gifts I'm going to find out eventually, why ruin the surprise?

About the question, it was a stupid one and I answered it myself.

That's good. My day was good. I babyproofed an entire house. It was fun after the mummy-to-be left me alone. She was hanging over my shoulder to see if I was doing it right or something.

2008-05-07 05:50 am UTC (link)
Oh. Well, what answer did you come up with?

She's just pregnant and wants to make sure her baby's safe. She may also just be curious about the wards. If she had you do it, she's probably not that great at it and might be curious how to do it and what you do and maybe even how to touch them up if she can't owl you because it's late at night or something.

Because you wanted to talk to me.

Yes, but I don't need someone who doesn't have my experience trying to tell me what to do. Its harder to concentrate. Don't worry, I was perfectly charming to the pregnant woman. And my wards don't need touch ups.

[info]jamienotmorty
2008-05-07 06:18 am UTC (link)
I didn't say that. The comment about arrogance was in reference to your comment about your wards not needing touch ups. Actually, my whole reply was because it came off as arrogant. I figured the pregnant lady could defend herself or have her husband do it since I have no idea if she actually attempted to tell you how to do your job or just hovered for a bit. Besides, only she would know her motives for doing any of that. As for your answer, I didn't think I had to say it was correct because it was.

And now that I have a headache and feel like I'm talking to one of my brothers

I'm thinking quitting while I'm behind might be a good idea right about now so I don't make a complete and total twat of myself tonight and leave it at utter twat for now.

Oh. I misread it then, sorry. I was mostly joking about it anyway.

Just a miscommunication, these journals don't really work well for getting points across, especially for jokes and stuff.

If you're going away, good night and I'll see you tomorrow still? If I haven't fucked things up.
